The battle was fun, had some good humor
hondo had a few good lines once again
slave 1 return
hondo have a secret fleet
grevious almost got killed
yoda had a great adventure when looking for his crystal
Not the best way to show spoilers but okay!
Darn Yoda, if only he was on the Crucible we could see a good fight between him and Grievous.
That would have been amazing. They threw away a million opportunities by letting Yoda disappear after The Gathering.
Gah! I wanna see this episode now...
Why won't the internet let me?!
Episode was very good... One of the best endings to an arc we've had in a good while.
I'm glad Ahsoka was able to put up a good fight against Grievous, but not to the point where it was expected she could beat him.
Just saw the episode.
- Hondo holding Dooku hostage in Season 1 really bit him in the a** , great to see some internal continuity from the first season. As Obi-Wan predicted it would.
- Grievous had a bunch of micro-series moments by throwing Hondo & Ahsoka around like ragdolls.
- Didn't Grievous recognize Ahsoka from Season 1? This is their first encounter as far as I remember since.
- Hondo & Pirates rebuilt Slave 1 from Season 2 to have the OT colors.
- Hondo rocks all around with dialogue.
- Epic fight between Ahsoka and Grievous that Grievous won, Ahsoka retreats into Slave I. Hondo gets the last laugh.
- Grievous speaking in third person about his awesomeness? Bleck.
- First time we've ever heard about Yoda's training as a padawan.
- Hey look, Cody and Obi-Wan.
Great episode and a great way to finish off this arc, one I thought I would utterly despise, though I'm docking points off for Grievous's cliche villain moment.
So far, Season 5 has been the most solid season yet IMO. There hasn't been a real 'bad egg' if you will.
On to the Republic Commando/Droid arc!
She looked like she was fighting for her life. She wasn't going to last much longer against Grievous without some intervention.
Awesome episode, best of the arc!
Great episode! It was so much fun on many different levels.
Who would have guessed that Hondo would be the star so far of this season? He ripped out some killer lines tonight. Grievous actually looked like a threat during this storyline. The younglings and the Professor were great new characters and the ending was terrific.
I liked Grievous's new ride, but this would've been the perfect place to use his Wheelbike.
As much as I love Hondo, hopefully he takes a backseat for the rest of the season... As soon as they started throwing Bane into random episode arcs, his awesomeness kept diminishing and he stopped being able to even put up a good fight. They have a whole GALAXY of characters they can use, let's put him on the back-burner for a bit.
If Florrum is under Separatist control how is Hondo able to go back there for Revival?
Going to guess that is the last time we will see Hondo this season.
We know he's defiantly not in the Maul arc (if you don't consider Revival apart of it), and he's probably not in the Droid arc or the Padme arc.
And when all the Younglings were circling up behind Ahsoka was reminiscent of the Microseries as well. As much as I knew by that point that they wouldn't, I wanted them all to engage Grievous at once SOOOOO bad.
I wanted to see Grievous kill all the younglings.
The "bond" between Katooni and Hondo I thought was just sickening like the bond between Clovis and Padm'e. Nice to see a regular tactical droid and the Firespray ship that looks like the Slave I from Episode V.
*Disney guards begins to shot Skywalker ranch employees*
Mickey Mouse: Filoni!
Filoni: Mickey mouse i presume ? have a seat .what may i ask is the honor ?
Mickey Mouse: this ranch is now under Walt Disney control
Filoni: and what to you suppose that means ?
Mickey Mouse: It means you have a new master
This is (surprisingly) the best arc of the season by far. Onderon suffered from many little things but this arc had 4 entertaining episodes (while the first one was bit worse). Grievous was rather cool and all. This time I was really worried for the jedi children and Grievous felt like a real villain as it should be.
+Slave 1 returns and Hondo's colors are still seen in Boba's ship- nice connection to OT.
+Grievous was threatening and cool
+battledroid pilot (?!) I'm sure that there was bluepatterned droid there.... finally... it had backpack though but does not matter....
+Grievous had cool speeder (even though we could see his wheelbike at some point)
-We didn't hear the story about Yoda getting his lightsaber crystal sounds interesting
- No pirates died during the escape (while few died defending the base)
I really didn't get what was the purpose of the attraction to pirates and Hondo that tholothian girl had..... Maybe she survives the jedi purge and joins the merry band of pirates
Hopefully Hondo-episodes are now over- he is great but not really what TCW should be about.
I'm quite sure it IS Slave 1- it crashed on Florrum before and according to Filoni it was rebuilt by Hondo- too bad he didn't seem to have fixed all the weapon systems- homing torpedo or sonic mine would have finished Grievous- well.... for continuity's sake.....
Sorry about DP.... for some reason I was unable to see my own comment....
Awww- no way- ithorian and wookiee are so cute. And that irritating boy needs to mature a bit before he dies
Usually TCW is written so that I actually want to see Grievous winning, but this time it felt like he is a threat. That is how it should be really- he is villain after all.
Darth Talgus you are my hero! this is hilarious
