Fanclub The Clone Wars Fan Club is gearing up for Season 5!

The last two episodes were a bit weird, but I found myself enjoying them anyways.

I am looking forward to what TCW has in store next spring.....

 

Missing TCW this week.

 

Unfortunately, I've been missing it every week for a few weeks. It's just not holding my interest anymore. Which I hate, because I want to love it. But the water episodes were pretty terrible.

 

^Yeah I understand the losing interest. The recent episode did introduce an interesting new Jedi though.

 

Yeah, Umbara was pretty cool, though I didn't like Krell's sudden change of heart in the end. Oh well.

 

I loved the last episode, and I have a feeling that this whole 4-parter is going to be fantastic.

 

Do you think I should watch the next episode, then?

 

^Sure, but it's part of an arc. You might want to watch the first part if you can. The new Jedi totally made the episode for me.

 

In that case, I'll give it a try.

 

Rex > Fordo

Without Genndy's over-the-top animation style, Fordo is useless. Plus, Rex's got cooler Phase II armor.

 

Micro-series > TCW.

 

^Yeah, I have to agree. And TCW might have more complex animation, but the animation in the micro series had much more character, in my opinion.

Obvious troll is obvious.

 

I was merely pointing out that perceptions change over years, I just did it with a sense of humour.

And please don't call me a troll, especially since your main goal in the CCC seems to be pointing out peoples grammar mistakes

Edit: my above post wasn't an attack, but seriously humour is NOT trolling, trolling is: TCW suckzzzz even the animation is CRRRAP, I wasn't doing that.

 

Well, nice to see everyone's getting along in here. But perceptions really do change, to be fair. The series had promise, but to me, that promise wasn't fulfilled.

 

You know, I was enjoying this weeks episode up until that cheesy Return of the Jedi "tribute." That was in my opinion just a terrible move by TCW writing staff. I love that scene in ROTJ, it's one of my favorites. When I saw that though, it took me out of the episode. Tributes are one thing, but that was just awful.

The rest of episode was good though and enjoyable until that part.

 

Except Anakin failed when Luke succeeded.

 

They still shouldn't have done it though. They even did the salute to R2. There had to have been something else they could have done there that would have been better. I didn't like that scene.

Like I said, the rest of the episode was decent enough, it was just that one scene that was "ugh" to me.

 

I didn't mind it because it made me think the breakout was gonna succeed, when it didn't.

I feel it's just poor writing and overall laziness on the part of TCW staff though, whether or nor no Anakin pulled it off. Not only did they copy the plan, they copied the signal. If they had done it and not made it so ROTJ like.

If Anakin had just yelled out something or anything different than the salute, I don't think it would have been as bad. I didn't think it was going to be a success either because they were completely surrounded and had what looked like(and ended up being) a limited opportunity to escape.

 

Man, "Massacre" was intense. My favorite of Season 4 hands down (so far).

 

Agreed! This four-part finale is shaping up to be something awesome!

 

"Bounty" was pretty good. Boba using Jango's twin blasters was awesome!
