If my Best Buy was any indication, I don't think there will be many left by then. There were only five left in the store when I bought it last night.

BTW, I got the $22.99 sale price. I had gotten myself all built up for a fight over the $51.42 price, but it just rang up that way.

according to the voice actors feature, Seth Green may be a seperatist droid.

The circle is now complete. (Well, it's more of a row...)

    [image=http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/871/sspx0131lg1.jpg]

Though Star Wars Tech, The Force Among Us, Tucker and Radioland Murders are still to be had...

I must question your placement. How can you put the spin-off's before the actual episodes. Epecially the Ewok movies. Actually what's Willow doing up there too?

agreed. Personally, I'd go Episodes 1-6, OT bonus disc, Ewoks Movies, Ewoks animated, Droids, Clone Wars Micro Series Volumes 1-2, and TCW Theatrical. Then, I'd go with the non-canon stuff and the LFL movies.

    Still, that's an impressive collection.

LOL I can't beleve my dvd placement has become a point of discussion. Thanks. I've actually shifted them about from time to time, but my final placement is:

non-Star Wars Lucasfilm projects (which happen to be pre-1977) -> Lucasfilm Star Wars TV projects in order of production -> films in order of episode with bonus discs by spine color (had I the Limited Edition episodes IV-VI, they would go after III and before The Story of SW) -> parodies and mocumentaries -> fanmade docs & fanfilms

Your ideas listed above make sense, but in the end I gotta go with some sort of order ;)

Second thought, I'm moving the animated and spin-off films after the OT.

Good man, now you just have to move Willow and American Graffiti back a little. And Willows was made after 1977 so why put it there to begin with?

I always place DVDs based on series, and how much I like them.

Woo, awesome! A writer! Well count me in too. Of all the unaired specials previewed, "Bombad Jedi" is the one I'm most excited for. Personally, I love "The Phantom Menace" influence with Gunray & Binks at the forefront. My favorite part: Jar Jar calling 3PO "Three-Oh" and then being corrected.

I'm sorry. You can't include Willow, unless you also include Howard The Duck

to Troopsguy: Trust me, if a Region 1 release existed not only would Howard be sitting happily next to Willow, but Tucker, Land Before Time and Captain EO would join the party. Is Powaqqatsi a stretch?

Edit: PLEASE write in a clone trooper named Captain EO. [face_praying]

no. No! NO! I don't even let friends or my girlfriend do that. Now I have to restart my computer four times and wash my hands with three bars of new soap. I stepped on a crack on my way to work and its killing me!

Thanks obi-rob-kenobi4! It's quite a delight to watch Indy from a baby on a roof to a 58 year old in a wedding chapel.

BTW, Anybody have detailed pics of the $51 BB exclusive? I may post pics of the Target exclusive.

If I was watching closely enough, it would seem that he plays the droid assistant to Cad Bane, a Duros Bounty Hunter featured later in the season.

I'm gravitating more toward your order, DH. I started off putting all Clone Wars material in between II and III, but I've grown to prefer seeing the episodes all together. My Indy collection is a mirror image of yours, but I couldn't really share my SW collection, since it has some taboo items...

The preview on the CW dvd went just a little too far for my tastes, but I won't look at it again and hope I forget some of the details. Between that and getting spoiled on some of the particulars of tonight's episode, I almost felt like I'd already seen it before it even came on! Otherwise it does seem a little light on extras, but I couldn't not get them!

Just did a search around all the DVD websites I know (the bigger ones) and nowhere in the UK is selling the 2 disc edition.

Im sorry but this is just crappola, first we have to pay big money to get the channel the Clone Wars is on (and have to wait for the first episode) but now we dont even get a 2 disc set of the movie?

*sigh* At least make the streaming on starwars.com international please!

I've listened through part of the commentary track so far- there's a neat moemnt during the Teth scenes where they're talking about the fan reaction to footage shown at Celebration IV, and they play an audio clip of the audience cheers and ovation.

Which means, technically (having been in that audience), I'm on a SW DVD commentary :D ;)

(well, me and a couple hundred other folk ;) )
