FF:NZ The Clone Wars

Each episode seems to exceed my expectations.

Chapter 9 Cloak of Darkness is my fave so far. Good to see Ventress finally strutting her stuff.

Makes you wonder if she would have given Mr. Maul a run for his money.

 

I've watched the first 8 or so episodes. Thus far, I like everything about it, aside from the facial animation style, which looks too blocky IMO. But the backdrops and dogfights are very good.

 

Blocky faces, yes. But if you look closer at the facial detail it actually looks like the characters have been painted. Some of the backdrops also look like they've been painted as well.

IMO the animation team have done a bang up job. Esp like the way the dogfights and space battle scenes have thge whole shaky camera thing going on. Very similar to the way the new BSG space scenes are shot.

Feb 13 it will start here on cartoon network. I cant wait.

I see K-Mart have Clone Wars cartoon themed back to school stationary - pens, library bags, pencil cases/tins etc.

 

watched another episode yesterday

lunch time is such a silly time to have it, i always forget it is on for my wife has me out doing something

i think i will have to wait for the DVD to come out
