I'd have to go with Junior Mints when they're nice and cold. =P~ Not really a candy but lately I've been into pistachios.

I read it when it came out. The Labyrinth of Evil book that took place right before it was good too.

read both of them and then Dark Lord that takes place right after ROTS.

the ROTS novel is stylized in a way.

The novel has some interesting dialogue when Anakin is Sent to kill the CIS leaders

there's some stuff in there that wasn't in the movie, like Palpatine asking what Anakin wants and that he could have anything

That’s why I read the novels, just to get those extra bits.

I liked the ROTS book. For me it made a more convincing argument for his turn to the dark side. It filled in some gaps, like a director's cut.

i wasn't sure, but it was different. more stylized than the TPM or ATOC novels

Doesn't the novel imply/suggest Palpatine was Anakin's father? Also Palpatine was dropping hints about Obi Wan Padme affair rumors to Anakin. Saying he was seen leaving her place at nighttime. Fueling his paranoia.

i don't remember those points. i remember him sewing more distrust against Padme. i'm glad lucas left that out of the movie. didn't make sense if he was also trying to save her

I wish he had included the 2000 deleted scenes in ROTS

I think, if memory serves, the book leaves open the possibility that Palpatine created Anakin through the Force. Remember his speech at the opera house, about the Midiclorians creating life.

The RotS novel is one of my favorite SW novels and I even enjoyed it more than the film. It also enhanced my connectivity with the film which I was cold on for awhile. The first 20 pages or something is some of my favorite Star Wars.

Having padme be involved in the sorta creation of the rebellion would have been really cool.

There's a great line in the novel at the end before they fight Anakin tells Obi Wan, "Just walk away. For old times sake." But it didn't really fit in to how out of control Ani was at the time. But it was touching.

well given the scene that takes place where she asks Anakin to talk to Palpatine about stopping the war i think we can take those scenes as canon. particularly the first two

Agreed with many of the comments. So much more in the books! So good!
