Screen-Con that is, there was one in May 2013 which was a big success, next will be Scream-Con in October at Tynemouth.

    Looks like fun.

Alas I will not be able to go as I plan to go to Expo at the end of the month.

Cool I like Expo, I hope this expands/continues though, saves me money having to get trains etc when I can just walk to a venue for a change lol

So I mistakenly crashed the VIP area and in doing so had a pint (or five) with Dave Prowse lol

Nice one - typical that they come up with this after I go into exile down south!

    Nice

Don't worry Dickie, the South has plenty of conventions that guys like Prowse attend. I've had lunch next to Kenny Baker before.

    Screen-Con 2014 - Sat 3rd May 2014

Up here in Newcastle we've been lucky & seem to be in a con boom as it were (e.g. from nothing to about 4 or 5!). Newcastle Film & Comic-Con was huge & planned for another next year. Then we've now got Newcastle-Con, Screen-Con & Scream-Con. Good times for Northern Geekdom ;)
