I saw Red Dragon yesturday, and I loved it!!!!! I read the book about two years ago, and I think I might just have to read it again now .

Hey everyone. Bartender, the usual.

Just got off work and went on a little toy scavenger hunt. Looking primarily for action figures, I went to Target, which had nothing new. Then I ventured to TRU. First I looked at the legos, I know it's almost sacrilage. Anyway, I was tempted to buy the lego Tie Fighter, but I passed.

Then I went to the action figure aisle. While glancing through the peg warmers, my eyes fell toward the floor when I saw about four Gunships. Now when you guys are done wetting yourselves with excitement, I'll finish.

Ok, the point of my story is I was able to exercise a great deal of self-control. I did not purchase it, leaving them for a deserving child.

So, I feel pretty good about myself.

I`m gald I changed mine just now,or there would be a lot of confusion.
Oh did anybody see GWB`s speach,on NBC.It had the funniest mess-up,it went from the speach to fear-factor,and back to the speach again. It was so funny.

 

No it`s cool HW. I`m having trouble finding an icon to stick with anyway. I thought I`d try this one.I just did that for a joke.

Couldn't sleep last night so I started reading Destiny's Way, Wow I couldn't put it down. I read about 185 pages straight last night! I'm on 234. Just excellent so far IMHO, It's already one of my favorites in NJO for a few reasons I can't divulge!

 

I`m not into EU,I mean we could be reading classic novels,like Of Mice,and Men,or anything by Steinbeck.I like EU on occasion.

 

I appreciate your opinion Drac, However It Definitely depends on your "Point of View", I read Of Mice & Men and The Pearl and well... they kind of bored me, but that's me. I read alot of modern novels like Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon & Daniel Quinn. Guess I'm not much for the classics, Although I love Shakespeare.
I like Magical & Fantastic kinds of stories, but also have a philosophical angle to them.(Like StarWars, LOTR) duh BTW If you love Vampires I think you might like the NJO Yuzhaan Vong, they're Creepy & Very interesting Villains.
