Well no bowl for the Vols this year. Interesting note, Vanderbilt and South Carolina are both 13-4 in their last 17 SEC-E games.

Hit the recruiting trail, and maybe next year. Losing to Florida sure was a disappointment, in retrospect.

Big movement in the polls, and the SEC now has 3 of the top 5.

Bama, FSU, OSU, then Auburn, then Missouri. Baylor down to 9th, Oregon down to 12th. Bottom falls out on A&M, they drop ten spots to 19 with Missouri up next.

Duke is 24th. One more interesting thing, and I've never seen this- FCS North Dakota State got an AP vote for the Top 25.

I have to pinch myself. I legit can't believe Duke is going to the ACC championship game (and that I'm not posting this in the college basketball thread!).

The best part of all this is that Saban argued vociferously for the out of bounds play to be reviewed with 1 second left. He doesn't do that and the game goes to OT.

Even with that, I agree with the announcers -- why they didn't try a Hail Mary instead, I can't say.

I'd say this was easily the most WTF ending to any football game I have ever seen. And that includes the David Tyree helmet catch.

I've never seen anything like this in my life. Two of the last three weeks, Auburn has won on absolute miracles.

Auburn should hope for Missouri to beat A&M. If they can beat them in the Championship, they may just jump Ohio State. If it's South Carolina in the Championship, I doubt there's enough there.

this one is maybe a bit less of a miracle because the game was tied. worst case scenario they;re still going to ot. in the georgia game they were down by a point with 36 seconds left and facing a 4th and 18 from their own 26. that was an absolutely desperate heave and a completely miraculous bounce. this one was more "lol tide" than anything.
