    Urban Meyer beat Alabama (in Louisiana) and Oregon to win a national title. Could not have possibly had a more difficult hand dealt, with a 3rd string quarterback.

    Build the man a statue, name some streets after him, he's a legend.

    I adore the call to score at the end there. Completely unnecessary but awesome for all the doubters that had Oregon basically being crowned champs after they beat FSU the other week.

    Congrats to THE Ohio St. fans that we have on the boards.

    I think you're missing the joke. This is not a serious inquiry into whether or not the Raiders will draft him on solely his arm strength. It's a reference to his much maligned tweet.

    But, hey, after starting three games and winning the B1G Title, Sugar Bowl, and National Championship in them, i think he can get ride that to a job in sales at any firm in Ohio. The opening line "hi, this is national championship quarterback Cardale Jones" goes a long way.

    He may not be here to play school, but he apparently is here to play championships.

    I am guilty of #3. And #4. :p

    I think the era of one "dominant" conference ended last night, as did anyone writing off the B1G. I think if you had replaced FSU with TCU in the playoff, you would have had representation of four very powerful conferences.
