The Comic Book Character Draft Episode VIII: The Secret Draft *congrats, Loyal!!*

Thanks, all. Can't say I ever expected my first draft win to be in comics. Good game.

 

Well you did have a good team, so well earned there. Kyle, Majestic, Wonder Woman, Firestorm and Allen are a beastly top 5. A bit of luck when sending in the #'s seemed to help you out as well, you seemed to have benefited from getting good draws in those matches.

Interesting read. I know this doesn't mean anything, but here is my opinion on the final battles:

Kyle Rayner vs. Lobo (prep)

Karate Kid vs. Goblin Queen

Firestorm vs. Juggernaut - A very lame and cheap way to win, but I guess a win is a win.

Black Panther (prepped) vs. Moonstone/Solomon Grundy - BP is that overrated here? Him putting the Silver Surfer into a hammerlock was beyond retarded.

Allen the Alien vs. Apocalypse (prepped)

Wonder Woman vs. Atrocitus

Duplikate/Immortal vs. Solomon Forfeit

Majestic (prepped) vs. Shadow King

IMO, it should have went to a team battle, but congrats to the victor regardless.

I think this should have went to teams too... alas, good win Loyal. As I tell my fans out there, there's always next year...

Awesome, I finally got a chance to finish this little "project" of mine. I started to think that this might be getting pretty epic around halfway through the draft, but by the end, it surpassed all expectations. Thanks, Kalar!

Oh, but just in case it needs to be said, this is not intended to be an insult or anything like that. It's just funny, I think. And keep in mind that it could've been a lot more epic, but if the meaning of the comment was in any way ambiguous, I didn't add it. So actually, this could have been anywhere from 20-25% longer.

And yes, clearly some of these comments were justifed, but still....
