Well, if no one wanted to take Larfleeze I guess no problem. But then the "random GL" spot basically becomes Larfleeze.

It would have been an even better idea if it had been brought up before the game started when I asked if anyone had any suggestions for the list a million times. But it hardly matters. Let me just double check some stuff about a certain color lantern and then I'll edit it accordingly. If there are no objections. If there is an objection, well, tough boogies, it's staying as gl.

I'm confused. I never heard there was a talk about the list but I've been away for a while. But, that being said. Is orange in or out? Also, who's pick?

Unfortunately you missed out on the discussion. But. Yes. So long as all the parties involved(that's everyone playing and judging) don't have a problem with it, that pick can open to just which lantern instead of green lantern.

There's already a sapphire pick, but I'd be willing to add a representative slot for each color(excluding black and white). This would have been better if it had been mentioned before(I know you weren't around for that, but some of you were, and I don't like to change the list after the game has been started)I think that at this point it wouldn't have changed anything, but if trimaj objects(I doubt the first two picks would be any different) then it would be unfair to him.

 

I really don't want to add more colors, I'm more asking can a person theoretically have the green lantern corp as their team...

 

Let me be more specific, can we make the GL pick an unlimited pick?

 

There's already 7 of them if you count Sentinel, and if you wanted to make a case for Sinestro that would be 8.

I don't like the idea, though, of just being able to keep taking lanterns. I mean. When would that stop?

I brought up Larfleeze once. He is far above most other lanterns, and he isn't green. How could he be picked up under the GL option?

Well he couldn't, which is why these guys want to change that.

 

He is really powerful, but more powerful than anyone else on this list? I don't know enough about the various Lantern Corps to know that, that being said I wouldn't oppose his entry to the game.

On second thought, Larfleeze isn't on the list for whatever reason, so he'll stay that way. I'll add a general red and yellow lantern pick to go along with the green and pink. Blue and indigo are going to stay off, as well as orange.

The only actual concrete restrictions on characters should be stated on the list; if no restrictions are outlined on the list, that character is considered peak power*.


*I'm not telling the judges how to interpret peak power. If you can make a convincing argument for why a character in a certain state should be considered peak, that burden is on your shoulders--I would discourage players from choosing a character who had a very, very brief power up outside of their normal operating range(like a mr. Universe spidey, or drafting Marvel Boy and arguing that he should be considered as quasar for his peak) and trying to pass that off as peak. Or a character obviously being boosted by another. I don't expect anyone to entertain those kind of "max power" levels.

As an aside, if you've discovered someone with an item that isn't mentioned as being outlawed, please do bring it up in arguments(this way in the next game we will be aware of it), so long as they have possession of it.
