Love to hear arguments of extant over darkseid... actually, nah... that ain't happening.

 

I would argue that if I believed there was a way he could beat Darkseid, but I don't so move along.

 

I didn't think the call rose to the necessity of Doomsday hiring a Heavyweight, a Heavyweight.

He should only need this guy.

Finally the time to force the judges to decide on Kyle Rayner....

 

uh...what?

 

before the draft started, I stated kyle as a green lantern, could use the whole spectrum. Here's proof... more if you'd like... against the third army:

 

Kyle spitting red energy on an orange lantern. The point of the story is this. Kyle at his peak, gets all the spectrum. Blue doubles his green power alone. The ring will let him know what X-Man can do almost immediately and X-Man NEVER comes out the gate with the mind wipe. With that, Kyle has 7 (yes SEVEN!) colors of shields, powers to draw from, plus the green ring, experience... he's a power house.

 

kalar... it's already been said that he DOES NOT get all the rings... more than once.

 

They said that he didn't get the rings , do you see a red ring on his finger? All I see is a green ring... but he's using the red energy.

 

logic would dictate that if he doesn't get the rings, as was stated, he also does not get those powers. since it was stated he's a green lantern, and a green lantern only, which suggests only green lantern powers, not the entire spectrum.

 

I was fine with him not getting the rings, but he trains in the spectrum, he's still a green lantern, but he can use the whole spectrum without the rings. Removing this is like removing Doomsday ability to evolve after fights and only using the first version of doomsday.

 

Judges, please jump in on this, he demonstrated this ability well before the draft started. It's the premise of the whole new guardian arc, and in the past, loopholes like this allowed Blastaar with the CCR, Mongul with power rings... I don't see how this is any different. I agree weird Kyle with 7 rings is a no go. But this is different, this is 1 ring GL Kyle, trained in the art of the spectrum.

That last comment was my nice way of saying I'm not going to debate with you the merits of the spectrum. After doing more research, I feel this is more cut and dry than some of my earlier arguments (multi rings or Ion powers) and is a supped up GL and nothing more.
