So I went back and forth on this one a lot. Best-available-forget-cohesion-pick, Best-available-for-cohesion-pick, fun-picks-I-always-wanted-to-draft-but-never-have-pick? Turns out I'm going with the gut for fun pick...

Is it back to World War Hulk? I mean, he really wasn't that nice even still. Black Bolt was a Skrull, and that was his only ridiculous feat. Unless you count Strange, who didn't fight hard when he lost and didn't even have hands...

 

Uggh haters gonna hate. Well since he is a suck fest I guess I can drop him in FA and get a new one then, huh?

Like I said I always wanted to draft the Hulkster so this draft is gonna be all about doing my favorites I've never drafted but always wanted to.

You really can't go wrong either way, but wouldn't you rather have Savage Hulk? So, maybe WWH is stronger, or smarter, or more in control of himself, but does that really matter? Hulk is already Strongest There Is. Is that really going to make a difference when it comes down to fight time? Has being stupid ever hurt his fighting ability in a really significant way? You want the Hulk because you have always wanted the Hulk? Then you draft THE Hulk. None of this WWH nonsense. Classic. You just ordered New Coke instead of Coca Cola. Come on.

Anyway, how about I work on some breakdowns to make some entertainment, since that first round was super boring?

 

I suppose I could've drafted MODOK.

 

I guess, my problem is that when there get to be 23490568 incarnations of the same exact character they all kind of blend together in my head. It doesn't matter to me, big mad and green is still big mad and green...Hulk is still Hulk no matter which one I draft.

Whoa! We still have Thor on this list? Amazing pick! How did you manage to steal him away like this? I thought he'd be long gone here, but somehow you managed to find him, just sitting there. A few years out of drafts and you've got absolutely no rust at all. Keep on keepin' on. A+

Magneto? Who the heck is that guy? I've never heard of him. He must be good though, because you picked him very high. I would look very stupid if I gave him anything other than an A+, and I do not want to look stupid. A+

4. Trimaj - Cassandra Nova Xavier
Hey, whoa. What's going on here? Psychic power, that's what. That's pretty hard to beat, I guess. And then all that other stuff that Yak likes to talk about when he usually picks her? That too. A+

Wait, wasn't Thor already picked? I am confused. They're wearing, like, the same exact thing. Is this the Ultimate universe Thor? What happened to his face? It is still Thor, right? Even though he looks like Odin had his way with Seabiscuit? I guess it's what's on the inside that counts. A+

6. RX_Sith - Dr. Fate
Is he really a doctor? That's pretty impressive. A+

7. KiwiRogue - Nova
Didn't he beat Annihilus with his bare hands? While Annihilus wore the Quantum Bands? He was practically Quasar at that point, and Nova had absolutely no help that I can recall. That means he's better than Quasar, meaning he must be somewhere on the same level as Galactus. Probably better than. Awesome. A++

8. MandaloreYak - Sentinel (Alan Scott)
He's Green Lantern, only he has magic? Hey, magic is pretty great, and you can pretty much argue that it can do anything, because MAGIC! A+

He's not a bad pick, triage, he's just not the greatest. I think you'll find that having a good team will get you killed when it comes down to the wire. I wouldn't worry about it though. Just have fun with it. I think Shirley was just laughing at ole Fat Lips in general, anyway.


I like that MVC3 has Amaterasu and Viewtiful Joe, otherwise I'm happy with Cap and Spidey (;_; no more Psylocke or Jin).

 

I had him as pretty darn near the greatest. Very high tier, and very nice prep.
