He has never been picked before that I remember. It took Superman a few confrontations before he was able to beat him, but once Superman let loose on him he basically punked Mongul. Still.....I would say that Mongul > Bizzaro.

PS: So far so good GM's, all the picks made so far are looking solid, even the Dr. Doom one. He may have went a little early but not by much IMHO, and Doom rocks and he does get prep so he will be a solid win more often than not for BEN.

    He was...
    He is...
    He will be...
    He returns...
    Darkseid reigns.

For my first Comic Book Draft ever, I will take Darkseid, Lord of Apokolips.

Going villain this draft is looking slim.

Yeah but I make a list of the top picks I want, for building both a Hero and Villain team. Onslaught is obviously my top dog and Darkseid was my second. Both are gone, I'm betting my third goes too.

I always want my first rounder to not lose any matches. Onslaught and Darkseid are the bread and butter there.

I hope BaSSiL doesn't mind me doing an update......if so just consider this an unoffical update so people can keep track of who was picked.

PS: I count 3 villain teams and 3 hero, and then one that could go either way (Molecule Man).

Onslaught was the other pick I was considering, but I decided not to go villian this time. Little surprised a certain pick is still available though.

    *whistles*

I've been putting together a list of prospects for the rest of my team and holy crap....
not being able to prep a PLer has really screwed with my head.

oh well. still got a sweet first pick. [face_peace]

Well...I was really hoping that this guy would fall to me.

I mean, other than being the only name on the list I recognize, he's practically unstoppable...

    So I pick:

    Toad.

    Actually, not really.

    Thor, I guess.

    Team Huh?:

That won't hurt you at all, Strange is a total beast and can work on the fly. With prep he is vastly more lethal, but I doubt Strange will take many losses, and if you are pushed into a team match his prep will make him that more more of a benefit to your team.

Strange is a solid pick for the #1 spot.

Strange is most likely who I would have taken at #1 was I there. He is going to be brutal in teams and is a guaranteed win to my mind individually.

I dunno, it scares me to see a PL in which Superman will be a good end of 2nd round/beginning of 3rd round pick.

With so many villain teams already on the board, it makes me a little scared to do a villain team. And Villain team pickings get slim as it is when we approach the later rounds. Yet ... if everyone thinks that way, we're screwed and the current villain teams will stock up ...

oh well, I went villain last time, so I'm going hero this time, and after a coin flip, I select ...

    X-Man

Finally, bout time Thor got the respect he dang well deserves.
And... Um... I guess some people haven't been around to see the slip in Darkseid stock, at least in my view. I'm interested in seeing where a few people will go though...

All this Darkseid manlove... And don't think that X-Man manlove went unnoticed either. But dang, that Darkseid manlove... Man...

Darkseid would have been my first pick as well. He kicks butt!

Oh yeah, um, as it pertains to the judging...

Maybe we should just let GMs choose what Psylocke incarnation they want?

Hmmm. My top top pick, that hasn't already been taken, for a hero team isn't gone yet *knocks on wood* so that's a plus. Depending on who is available on the villain side it might force my hand to go with a hero team. Either way things are looking interesting.

I'm surprised with how fast things are going too. Moving right along, good job guys.
