Okay, so I'm seeing that there was some confusion with the home field thing. 1) you don't get to pick who actually gets home field, you just get to pick where you want them to be if they get it. You need to tell me where each character would be if it were home field. 2) you actually need to tell me where that field is. So. I don't guess it's going to change much, but if there are places here that don't have one, it's because the player didn't do it right, and please send that to me.

And, like I said earlier, please send the team names in the pm. I'm not digging through the thread to find your team name, sorry. I don't have time right now, and I've already got a million tabs open.

Guys. Please. Please just include all the characters that are going on the number. I should have all of the teams listed somewhere, but I don't. Just put the character names somewhere in your PM. This is taking forever, and I am really lazy.

I win.

But, for real, Angela's good for an Asgardian but can't stand up to the power-cosmic in nearly the same way that Thor, Loki, etc. could do. Again, he's faster, more intelligent (plus Cosmic Awareness), as strong as, more durable than and can incinerate her eventually.

 

Is he, though?

 

According to everything Marvel's put out, yes.

I really just want to see a defense for Angela. I wouldn't be too worried.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Ronan may be overpowered here. Black Adam on his own would be a close enough fight.

 

so how does quasar get to be on a team with moondragon and cammie again? isnt quasar powerful enough? and spawn well, he does stuff that other stuff cant beat....yeah

 

About the only thing Phyla ever did with the Quantum Bands was make a sword.

 

She also made some constructs but that was at the end of a duel against another using a fragments of the bands. And it was a last ditch effort against all odds type thing. Until she was pushed into it, she still only had dat sword. I may try to find some stuff tonight or tomorrow, but I'd really like to know just what level of Spawn my cosmic gals are facing here.

I think she did some stuff early in the Guardians of the Galaxy run (a few shields here and there), but it was nothing compared to Wendell.

Also, you're thinking of Wendell, wd. Bart switched Wendell to Phyla.

Severely weakening the Hulk with two casual blasts. Even though he expected Hulk to be dead, it's still impressive. It is the Hulk after all. Plus Firelord, while trying to kill the Hulk, certainly wasnt going all out (Heroes Reborn Universe):

• Superhuman Strength: As the daughter of Odin, she would naturally have far greater strength than the average Asgardian. • Superhuman Durability: Being an Asgardian Goddess, Angela possesses virtual invulnerability and immunity to all known Earthly diseases and infections. She has so far comfortably flown through the vacuum of space.

• Superhuman Stamina: Angela's advanced musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human and most other Asgardians. Her virtually inexhaustible stamina enables her to hold her breath for an undefined period of time, and exert herself at peak capacity for months without tiring at all.

• Healing Factor: Angela is not invulnerable to all harm and it is possible to injure her. But due to her unique physiology she is able to heal from most injuries much faster than a human being could.

• Longevity: It is a common misconception that Angela and the other Gods of Asgard are truly immortal. Angela and the other members of her race do age but at a rate so slow that to other beings they give the appearance of immortality.

• Flight: Angela has apparently shown the ability to fly in the vacuum of space.

• Self Sustenance: She is capable of surviving in the vacuum of space unaided.
• At one point, Thor and Angela did fight, its noted that Tho had a very slight edge on strength, but Angela was much faster. She routinely took out groups of Asgardians ht included and was led by her brother, Odinson,
• She has also shown extreme self-healing whilst fighting and limited magic capabilities, mostly teleportation. Seeing that she could fight in peak form for months on end, and heal herself while doing so.
• When fighting tony stark, she shows heat and laser resistance,shrugging off his more powerful hits, the same extending to nuclear heat and radiation. Oh no Firestorm! I'm raining on your parade!
• She has lovely semi-biotic ribbons capable of holding off extreme heat lasers. the held off the guardians of the galaxies shots for about 3 hours, just by leaving her ribbons to block them.

  Semi-biotic Ribbons: Holding an Un-Town demon of Limbo and choking an enemy.
  Superhuman Speed: Angela uses her extreme speed to disappear and attack her enemies.. yea. Firestorm just can't keep up well enough to fight her before dying, and she doesn't have the stamina to do so. Little star will burn out long before Angela will be continuously hurt enough to lose. ​
• End all be all, Angela just has too much durability to lose. Firestorm can't hit her to wear her down, and if she does, Angela heals quickly enough to be fine before she gets close to being hit again.

So it goes, Firestorm tries and tries and tries, Angela dodges and moves, and Firestorm tires. Angela moves quickly enough that Firestorm would be taken out before she had a chance to try again. I WIN.

 

oh and last but not least, yo ask, how has Firestorm died? By being impaled on Shadow Thiefs sword. Not a magic sword, and not a magic man, no superhuman or supernatural. Good ol' fashion assassination style. Just happens to be Angela's bread and butter.
