Question, can teleporters teleport people to other dimensions and fight them there?

According to Yak, that was outlawed in other drafts... but lets see what the commish has to say

 

I can't recall if Magik was judged to be able to take people to Limbo or not. Personally I'd base it on how well she rolled, since she does have to get them on the discs first.

Yeah, we had that whole debate on Magik waaaaaaaaay back when. IIRC, the general consensus was that she could possibly get people into Limbo, but yeah, she'd have to get them to step on her discs or whatever. And let's face it, against the level of competition she's usually going to be faced with, that's just not happening.

"Hey, I know we're supposed to be fighting and stuff, but... before we do, step right here. Yeah, that spot. The one covered with those not-at-all-suspicious leaves and branches. Nothing there at all."

I mean, even if she does get a really high roll, has anyone here actually read an example of her doing something like that in the comics? Like, ever? I know I haven't, but I'm curious if it's something she's ever tried. Tricking someone into stepping onto one of her discs in the middle of combat with the express intent of teleporting them into Limbo so that she could fight them as the Sorceress Supreme. Is that something that she's even remotely likely to attempt?

Basically, there's a reason she hasn't been drafted in a long, long time.

EDIT: Grunge = ****ing awesome. Actually, that brings something to mind. Where the hell is the rest of that team? That used to be one of my favorite titles.... damn it all! Now I want Freefall on my team!

 

I've never seen her do it, and I've been somewhat fanboyish of her. Till the limbo stuff in those drafts ruined it.

In my latest list post in the discussion thread I removed Grunge from the list so I could add him back with the rest of the team in the next edition. I was wondering why he was all alone myself.

 

What??? Yak's been waiting for Blackfire to go! I never woulda guessed!

 

I've never seen her try it, not even the more ruthless Illyana of recent. But that could be that the recent Magik is just **** happy to finally be out of limbo and with her friends on the New Mutants again.

 

In regards to the the question about Magik trying to remove people from the battlefield....didn't we have a rule about that already? Yeah.
