    Heh. Oops.

OK, so, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. $65 (after picking up the new Hellboy novel), but I had a $25 store credit for being a good customer (she gives frequent flyer cards), so the bill was only $40.

But I'm caught up on Legacy and KOTOR, and picked up a few other non-SW goodies.

I read The Force Unleashed graphic novel. I liked it, good story. I have started reading The Killing Joke Batman comic. Once I am done with that I will read Watchmen, then once I am done with that I am going to read Batman Venom.

I am behind 2 legacy comics. I am behind on reading by about 10 or so. Man a lot of reading.

I read somewhere that there is a Middleman comic. If it's half as funny as the show, I MUST get it. [face_hypnotized]

THAT is without a Doubt, THE best Joker story that ever tapped into the mind of The Clown Prince of Crime.

... and a mile stone in the mythos of The Batman. Poor Barbara.

Yes. That is because Alan Moore is GOD.

Also good Batman: Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison. And I'm not a Morrison fan.

caught up on Dark Times finally, one thing about being laid up in bed, you can catch up on your reading.

I was enjoying the story arc with Master Jennar as he was being chased by Vader and just when I started to like this character... POOF! the story changed directions away from him and left it at a critical moment in the character's evolution as a runaway Jedi Master, I hope they come back to him.

In the meantime, Master K'kruhk is the focus of Jedis on the run and I like him a lot especially the look of his character but I am anxious to have them bring Vader back cuz they have made a point of this time being the only thing that qwells his anger for losing Panda Bear.LOL!

His vengeance is what fills him and I like it! :D

I'm about a short box behind on my comics reading.... Plus my four spiffy volumes of Absolute Sandman.

Now that I'm jobless, maybe I can do something about that.

Once again, Free Comic Book Day is upon us. There is a SW Clone Wars comic available.

Support your local comic book shop! Find the one nearest you participating in FCBD and see the other comics being given away by going here: www.freecomicbookday.com

How is that? You go in to get free comic books but that is supporting a retailer? Don't get it but I like free stuff, so I will be there.

The idea is to go in for the free comics and then pay for some other comics while your there. It's a way to remind people about comics and generate traffic at the store.

Not sure where this little tidbit should go...comics or TV thread or funny stuff on internet...but it's too good to pass up on.

    Via the Onion A/V Club:

Adam West makes his own "fan-doc"

    [image=http://media.avclub.com/images/articles/article/31124/west_jpg_595x325_crop_upscale_q85.jpg]

The campy '60s Batman TV series remains trapped in home video limbo (because while Fox owns the series, Warner Bros. owns the character, and reportedtly neither of them owns the rights to all the uncredited cameos on the show). But that hasn't stopped star Adam West from making and marketing his own set of featurettes for a DVD set that doesn't yet exist. For 30 bucks at the online Adam West Store, fans can buy Adam West Naked, a two-DVD set in which West reminisces about the series episode-by-episode. Even better, he does so "in a variety of amusing settings, whispering in the attic, or astride an imaginary horse at his home." Though to be fair, this is how West conducts most of his day-to-day conversations.

    Comment on the story here.
