The Confederacy of Independent Posters(CIP)

The way I see it, the more affiliations I'm in, the bigger my JC family becomes.

The only problem is I think NYJ, You, and Me are the only people that still wanna post here.

 

What do you guys do exactly?

We were theoretically supposed to be a second goverment, one that worked...

Guys, the Senate just got back on its feet. Let us do our job. The CIP is no longer needed.

 

It's funny how the Senate suddenly got it's act together at about the same time I returned...

Actually, my goal here was never to challenge the Senate, but to be an alternative. I think there's a place left in the EUC for this.

*upping, not necessarily in order to provide a secondary government or an alternative to the now functional EU Senate, but rather to again bring the organzation back to full and give posters a chance to voice their opinion in a thread not about forum politics, but rather about their own topics as a whole*

I'm sure there's a place for the CIP, but if all this thread gets is "UP" posts, then it's outlived its usefulness. If ya'll are just gonna come in here and cry up, rather than actually form a working government, then I see no reason for this thread to remain open.

 

Boba: In that, you are right.

However, I think that there is still a place and a justified postion for the CIP to remain active, and therefore it is my hope that it will gain more support and perspective now that it is somewhat beginning to function again.

In any event, I thought it'd be a good idea to bring about the structured growth this place helped exhibit and convey upon the forum. I think it's a good idea, and so I'm hoping it can still work out...

I got out of politics after my term as Chancellor. I'm not sure about leading the CIP again yet. I'll keep an eye on this however.

Ken: I dont, Its nice to think it would work but there is very little intrest in the CIP... Cant hurt to try, i guess.....

If it is we need to:
1) Outline what are goals are
2) outline how we are going to work

Cuz we've pretty much lost sight of that...

 

The main purpose I set forth when I founded the CIP was to be a voice for the individual. The Senate has done an excellent job of representing the interests of threads, but I still feel that problems of one person are easily pushed aside for EUC wide issues. I firmly believe that there still is a place for the CIP here, and that it can coexist with the Senate.

NYJ: I wholeheardly agree, a reevaluation of our goals is necessary. PM me if you come up with something.
