Well, given that this has been postponed, I *will* still have my equipment up there.... So if y'all want to get together and do fanforce photos, I can light for it. Even take the pictures if I (or one of you) can wrestle up a still film camera somewhere. I'd prefer not to shoot digital for the official fanforce pictures...but if that's what we end up with, that's fine too.

I know John was wanting to do some B&W stills for the website, so we could do those. Also some group photos of everyone, the FF Government, the Fanfilm cast, etc.

Friday would be the better day for me to do this if anyone's interested. (Since the fanfilm has been postponed, I figured it was only appropriate for me to spend my first full day in Cd'A with my family instead of the fanforce.)

 

Oops, forgot to mention the "costume" for the event. If you want to do it, I believe John wanted everyone to wear white button up shirts and black pants or skirt. And to answer John's question, yes you can wear a skirt if you really want to.

And of course any "Fanforce candids" we happen to do (if we do any) can be any outfit.

Good idea Stan. Bob's got some nice Nikon's you can borrow, they're pretty top-of-the-line, and not digital. You and him could get some nice shots. We could also plan a party/get together for Friday for everyone who could make it, so that we've got the possibility for neat candids... what smells like halo?

 

Halo! We also have the map pack with all sorts of new maps for destructive goodness
Also, an honorable mention: Steve and I went head to head on one of the new maps. The results: Steve (and his indestructable yet extremely beat up Banshee) 25, Erich (and a whole bunch blowed up Warthogs and Banshees) 0.

As mentioned in the meeting minutes thread, there was a proposal to contiue work on this movie. Obviously, not everyone was involved with it to begin with, but I just wanted to toss it out there for the group.
The main thing that should be worked on is location hunting for the fight scene, since Manito seems to be out. What is needed is a nice looking and fairly large garden.
I think it's worth doing.
Thoughts?

Also, defenitely keep searching for a garden. Best time for me to do this (assuming anyone still wants me to be around for it) is the end of March/beginning of April 2006, so there's plenty of time there. I *might* be available over Christmas break on December 26, maybe 27 as well.

Anyway, we are totally derailing poor Jarus' thread. Anyone know how long this movie is being put on hold?

 

Well, we still need a nice garden location for the duel scene, though I also need to schedule a meeting with the Spokane Parks Department chair and see what he has to say about filming duel at Manito. When that meeting will be right now is a tough question.
However, I personally (and John can weigh in at any time) want to shoot summer of 2006. That provides time to construct props, costumes, so and so forth.
But, I would like to hear from other members and their thoughts.

Edit: And a Halo match where no one gets a score could last a while. I'm all for it

 

Yeah, I'm with Erich on this one, if we wait till Summer of '06 we'll have more time to find locations, finish costumes/props and finalize casting.
