I just cut my hair today tooweee but its quite a big change, my mom almost jump when she saw me.

U dont really have to dress in costume just come with anything that is Star Wars lightsabers, helmets or whatever. Its like they will be shooting us the minute we step out of Orchard. And i was told that the pple at 20th century fox want to give us some star wars goodies to thank us for supporting all the activites and screenings that we have supported. Its the event of the yr May 16. The official launch of AOTC.

 

A classmate says she'll be going too, to see us and to take photos.

 

Good to see the response, hope the reporter from Today will be there too.

This evening at Zouk will be the durability test of my suit & myself to wear it for extended periods.
I forsee that dressing up & storage of luggages being a problem during the parade. Maybe a guy can meet me half an hour before the set off time to help me in a nearby changing/wash room

If anyone not in costume can help carry my empty suitcase on the 16th, I'll be most grateful.

 

DE, my friend has confirmed that he will come dressed as a Jedi.

So he will be wearing the Jedi Cloak, with Luke Bespin outfit, riding boots and replica Darth Vader Lightsaber.

Does anyone know whether the little ponytail at the back of the head is part of the standard Padawan hairstyle, like the braid? Obi-Wan had one in TPM, as does Anakin in AOTC. But if memory serves, Obi-Wan was still wearing his small ponytail at the end of TPM, without his braid, when he turns to smile at Anakin... ? Or do I just have a faulty memory...

 

JediClare - Sorry but I don't really know much about the braids thing. Just know that Padawans are the only ones who should have them.

My bro will be coming too..wearing DE's Royal Guard costume . JediJazz sounds cool..

The 1st test of my suit went well at Zouk, except for the knee guards which kept sliding down.

I'll be at Somerset MRT Station Control at 4:30pm. Hope some of u'll be there early to help me with my costume. I'll need to find a suitable changing area too! It took my sister & I 20min to suit me up.

My identity shall be revealed this evening.

But the Jedi here still want to have the Sith Lord vs Jedis Battle before the movie starts? That will means I'll have to slip on my Maul Sith Apprentice Shirt, Tabbard and Obi and bring along Maul's Lightsaber. Think the clothes I can squeeze into a small plastic bag.

Anyway, you are very lucky I got the suit reserved for you the day before cause just after I signed the paper to rent the suit, someone called to ask if they (the shop) have anymore SW related costumes. And I was told yesterday morning-noon or the day before after I left, some people came to ask for SW costume and put up a sulking face when told none left cause they came from Foreigners' House Of Costume and that side also got none left.

I wonder who gotten theirs Rubbies (aka the Official costumes but look not good enough) from Jewel's Costumes and Costumes & Mascots. ? The other costumes shops (Looppy's etc) unfortunately may not have SW related costumes.
