    it's cute but needs to be fluffier, methinks. aren't there yarns that are fluffy default.

    that said, i applaud your efforts.

    I thought of that but didn't know how functional it would be if it was really fluffy.

    yeah, well, my mum does a lot of knitting about the house... i would have thought something like this here: http://www.junghanswolle.de/stricken-haekeln/garne/effektgarne/brazilia?SID=SID_zivATk6mhBDzsQkRVrqc5aZqiH2c

    she used to make scraves from similar wool and you could still tell where the substance ended and the fluff began, if that makes any sense.

    I have an hour commute to work and back and I get motion sick when I read so I needed something to entertain me on the bus. So I started knitting hats. I am modeling a few here. :)

    [image=http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y178/jediyvette/IMG_6039.jpg]

    Some have homes,and some don't. And some hats went out before I could model them. But I like them all. :)

    PS. Knitting a hat now. :p

    My first attempt at a Firefly hat. I made it for someone else and have never seen the show (*is shunned*) so it was made completely off pictures I found online. It turned out pretty okay but I did find things I would do differently next time. :)

    I also made R2D2, Han on Tauntaun and Luke on Tauntaun, but I guess I forgot to take pictures of those.

    I'm working on a crochet Wookiee that I will have to post when I finish it.

    Wow thanks guys! I'm all about sharing my art, so steal away, and if you need more pictures let me know! I make a few a year. I thought about trying to start a business about a year ago, but unfortunately right now, people don't have a lot of money to spend on upgrades to their houses. I do have a couple of other projects that I'm working on to expand my portfolio though.

    Those stained glass pieces are **** jelly. Seriously, commendable job.

    I wish I was artistic... :_|

    Found the bamboo table mat at a resale shop and wanted to do something with it and put it on my wall. Finally decided on copying the graffiti done on fb by a friend. Cut it out in cardboard, gold leafed it with a varigated leaf and then coated it with polyurethane so it lasts and easier to clean.

    [image=http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/healerleona/P1000565.jpg]

    The pictures are a couple I picked up in New Orleans and attached with a dab of hot glue so I can change the pictures when I find something else I like.
