I haven't been feeling fabulous, so I have been knitting again!

    My lion:

His name is Bantha because that was what I was intending on making but he transformed into a lion as he was being created. I especially love how his tail turned out. :D

I cross stitch (I'm doing a picture of The Beatles right now), I crochet (doing a lap robe to send to the veterans' hospital) and I make homemade cards (stamping, etc.) to send out for Soldiers' Angels. I used to sew, but it got too expensive. It's cheaper to buy clothes now than make them. Sad day. :(

Actually, I should have said I WAS making a picture of The Beatles. I got frustrated and put it aside. I'm off ONE freaking stitch and it making me crazed.

I'm only into sewing, but some times I do something else then costumes and gowns.

This is a mostly handsewn doll version of Eowyn's funeral gown that I made for my aunt as a Christmas gift. I had previously made her big gown inspired by that gown and she said it was sad that she couldn't show it to people, so I felt that she needed a miniature version of the gown as well, that she can have on her desk at work.

Thanks a lot. I was pretty happy with the result, but I don't think that I'm going to do anything on that scale in the near future, it was a lot tougher than doing it in full scale.

I finished up my knitted Bantha.
His name is Tunick since he has a prominent neck-beard. :)

awwww... I am posting twice in a row! :( :p

I made this for a friend in my FanForce. I redid my Artoo bag pattern and made it thinner and taller with a stiffer yarn so it actually is usable! :p
I also lined it to make it even stronger. He turned out very cute and am working on another one! :)

Not an EPIC FAILURE, but I think I made my floppy hat a size and a half too small. :p

My contribution to the Star Wars themed White Bantha gift exchange. Homemade SW ornaments. I made the patterns, my mom cut them out (as she has a puzzle ornament business), and then I painted them (rush paint job as I was running late). The Stormtrooper one is missing from these pictures.

EDIT: Your R2D2 bag is absolutely adorable Yvette!!! <3
