The Crimson Empire comics kicked ass. Well, the first Crimson Empire did. I haven't read Crimson Empire 2 yet. From what I saw in it, it doesn't look like it's as good as the first one.

So how is Crimson Empire 2?? Cause I haven't read it yet. I've been meaning to for a long time but am very skeptical about buying it.

I love the idea of the main character Kir Kanos. He's a living definition of pure badass. Most warrior champions that are in the SW novels and comics are always a Jedi, Sith or some kind of Force-sensitive. Kanos proves that even a warrior champion who doesn't have the Force can still be one of the ultimate fighters in the galaxy.

Kir Kanos could probably totally flatten most Jedi in one on one combat. If Jango Fett was capable of killing a bunch of Jedi in a Jedi vs Mandalorian brawl. Kanos should be able to defeat a Jedi quite flawlessly.

Kir Kanos is a bounty hunter now and he's the best

Ah, Crimson Empire, my very first SW comic :) this thing was great, Kir Kanos was a seriously cool character. Crimson Empire 2 was also good, but not as good as the first. However the scenes near the end where they're in Xandel Cavrius' palace are brilliant, as is the space battle and the escape from the Xanibar.

Kir Kanos takes on a bounty hunter personae in Crimson Empire 2 I know that much. He goes by the alias Kenix Kil as a bounty hunter. With his skill he'd make a good bounty hunter but he's nothing compared to an experienced hunter like Boba Fett and or Dengar.

In an amazing show of linking useless information together, I can actually show one of the weirdest connections ever to be a part of Star Wars. That's right. Weirdest. Ever.

    It involves CEII and...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...Deliverance.

The 1972 movie starring Ned Beatty as "The Pig."
