Don't give up hope...you're comimg home...win the first one... I don't know...it was lame the way Alfie played on the goal...play with some grit... Hey...what's up with Hockey Night in Canada???? The game was blacked out here in Buffalo...I missed Ron, Don, Bob, Scott...I was pissed Hey Emery was hot in goal...
My team's definatly winning. All my life I've lived in Ottawa and we've never brought home the cup. Now I'm at the right age and if they win, big party on Elgin. Go sens go!
I think he's trying to redeem himself seeing as he was being blamed for our loss last year. He's really brought himself up to definatly one of the best goalies in the NHL. What's Alfie doing? His only goal last night was tipped off his skate while gliding near the net. Alfie Alfie!
HNIC was on last night...it was blacked out due to some FCC test...CBC was off the cable for a day in a half...all is well now!!!! I don't know...Emery makes the saves when he has too...but being an elite goalie...I dont think so...he's too herky jerky, can't handle the puck et cetera et cetera...BUT...maybe they don't need an elite goalie to win the cup... the Sens have a lot of firepower...game three Monday.
I'm very depressed they lost Monday's game. We can only pray they can come back tommorow night and hold a lead to bring the series for a 7 gamer. Except only two teams have come back from a 3-1 lead. Step one, a problem I noticed while watching the game is that they are too focused on the man rather the puck. They need to keep it in their end and instead of passing back and forth just keep nailing it at the goalie. Passing it around gives the ducks more time to either retrieve or intercept passes and also place themselves at strategic points infront of the goalie. They also really need to get someone in front for rebounds. All game 4 there was no Sens infront of the net for rebound. It's too bad, I love our boys but part of me is saying it was too good to be true.... GO SENS GO! {If not that, Woah woah oh! 67s!}
can they do it???????? Win this one and they go back home....then the pressure is on the Ducks....get through this one first...should be a good game.... I love the saying...we'll hear it tonight... "The Cup is here tonight!" ...one of the best lines in all of sports!!!
Man, they choked. At his point they've done well to get this far but they should have been training while waiting for the Ducks to qualify in there division. YMMV
It's sad to see all the Sens stuff taken down around the city. My buddy saw Wade Redden at Rideau like 3 days ago, I wonder if the boys are in hiding? I'd be scared for my life If I was on that time, No fans compare to Ottawa Fans. We were so sure this was finally our year.
You know why they lost don't you. The Sens only have 12 Canadians on the team and the ducks have 21. You could look at it as a wiw/win sport. Not to mention you did have the cup game in your city.
