I slow sit down. But remain on garued just in case it's a trape even tho I sense he really does want something form me. "I'm sorry if I seem a little on edge. It's just that I don't trust Jedi." I say.

He laughs at this, "No kidding? You murder us for a living! But that's why I need you. I'm willing to pay fifteen thousand credits for you to follow an envoy the Council will be sending to Corellia soon. Your job is to make sure they return alive." He awaits your reaction.

    (Gai-Jin)

(OCC: I think our friend Zaster has forgotten us. I'll send a harassing PM, okiday? :))

"15,000 credite's to make sure the enovy comes back alive. You don't mind me asking why you Jedi can't do this? I mean why ask a Sith?"

What he has told me sounds good I could really use the money. Even tho it is only 15,000. It's not like Jedi can pay someone that much. But still why this Jedi would come to me is odd. I wait to see what he say. Even if he does not answer I would still take the job.

(OCC: You're not actually a Sith - you're a Dark Side user. Don't worry, eveyone is in the same boat ... the Sith are whole different kettle of fish from normal Dark Side users.)

He grimaces, "The Jedi Council, in their infinite wisdom, have seen fit to send several members to meet with some Jedi renegades. They believe that peace can be made between us." He gives you a look which tells you that he thinks that is a load of mynock droppings, "I've tried to convince them to take a larger escort, but they've declined, fearing such a show of force would be detrimental to their cause!" He shakes his head in disgust, "With your experience, I know you have the ability to get them out of a renegade trap, if that is indeed what this is." He sighs, "So, now you know what you're walking into, you still want the job?"

The hit is a little irritation, nothing more. Annoyed now, I take a step closer to the creature and pin it forcefully against the wall with the Force. I suspect is has merely come to steal food, but I need to confirm this. No use taking chances.

"Answer me. I'd rather not cause irreparable damage to your furry hide." I wave my lightsaber close to his face, singeing off some fur to illustrate my point. "I repeat: who and what are you? What are you here for?"

"Yes all take the job. I just need to know where and when the enovy is taking off."

Jedi renegades it sounds like fun. I'm hoping that I might be able to kill one or two. But even if I don't at lest I will be getting some money out of it.

(OOC: I am sinciery sorry for holding you up! Please forgive me. I didn't forget out the RPG...and thanks for the harrassmet KE!)

-Sighs and thinks for a few minutes trying to listen to the Force for guidance. It would be nice to get off this system now, but he is right: I can't trust any other piolot-

"Alright, I'll go with you. As for what I told you, it is the truth. Weather you belive it or not is up to you."

"So be it. Return here tomorrow morning and I will have the jump arranged. This is important - keep your head down. This office is personally investigating suspicious persons and they start with anyone with 'official credentials.'"

I sign her release authorization for planet departure and date it for tomorrow.

    "Anything else, Zaster?"

A sly smile spreads on my face.

"Interestingly enough, one of them is a tall Cerean male. He, of course, looks strikingly like me." Smile fades, "no other description is availible - hence the blanket search."

I regard Zaster, measuring her. Satisfied, I smile and nod for our parting.

(OCC: this is why I hate it when I don't look at this thread for a few days ... scrolling: ugh!)

    (Raine and Kija)

The little creature growls, "Narp is fierce warrior! Narp kill both nasty 'umans with bare paws!"

To both you astonishment, he throws out his little furry arms, and you both feel a strong push against you. Kija stumbles back into the wall. The tiny fur-ball gigles to itself.

    (Vegetia)

The Jedi Master hands you a data pad, "All the information you'll need is in there. It tells you where and when the envoy is due to take off, plus a few little details about your potential opposition you might want to know about." He stands to leave, "You'll find five thousand credits have been deposited in your account. You'll get the rest when the envoy is safely back on Coruscant." He sweeps out without a further word.

You call up the information on the data pad (OCC: see PM for further details). You've got a day to kill on the galaxies largest city. What do you want to do?

    (Gai-Jin)

You watch Zaster leave, and are sorely tempted to follow her, to find out more about this Force-wielding woman. You can fix things up so you are able to slip out for the rest of the day: do you want to follow her?

    (Zaster)

A you leave the building, you spy a figure in a hooded black cloak slipping into an alley-way. You feel a brief spike of dark Force power, much like what you felt the previous night when your team was taken down. Do you wish to pursue?

    (Runal)

The Rodian blatts some curses at you in his native language, before switching back to basic, "It's a big world - there's probably lots you might find interesting. But most of the latest hype has been over a series of what look like light-sabre inflicted murders. People have started avoiding the Jedi here. If I was you, I'd be thinking about doing the same. How's that for info: safety tips!"

After the Jedi Master left I just sat in the cantina. I had one day to kill. So I had to figure out what to do after all Coruscant was the biggest city in the galaxy. Heck the hole planet was a city. But before I decide what to do and where to go I would order a drink.

Then maybe just maybe I might see what the city night life was like on Coruscant.

-feels the dark Force and takes a deep breath. I'm so close to getting off this planet, but I can't let this person get away... My curiosity gets the best of me and I follow hi,/her/it. I keep a safe distance (hopefully) and try to hide myself (force-wise)from the figure-

"All have a tankard of lum." As I wait for my drink I think about what my mother said about the night life of Coruscant. She had said that the lower you go the bader it was. Just the way I like it. It was also a place where I could find some people to fight if I wanted to. Not that any of them would last long. But it was better then seeign some rich person shopping.

You follow the robed figure into the alley-way, and are taken aback to find that s/he has dissapeared completely. You hurry further down, trying to catch sight of you quarry, but finally stop when you reach the dead-end.

A thud behind you causes you to turn. The individual you had been chasing stands facing you, holding a sapphire lightsabre. The devorian has thrown off the robe, to reveal traditional Jedi robes done in black, rather than the traditional shades of brown or off-white. He grins at you, a flash of pointed teeth, "Time to tie up some loose ends!"

The black-clad Jedi advances, preparing to cut you down with his azure sabre.

    (Vegetia)

If you're looking for a fight, the Krazy Mynock is a good a place as any to start a bar brawl ... it's up to you how you spend your time, but don't forget you have a job to do the next day!

Although curious, it would hardly be prudent to have a top aide seen ducking the alleyways tailing a mysterious stanger.

Still.. I have just about filled my purpose here.. I see no reason not to finish up in the morning.

    I decide to follow.

You throw on a cloak, and hurry out, searching the street outside for Zaster. You see her entering an alley-way - but what you know that she doesn't seem to is that that particular alley was a dead-end.

Does she know you're following her?

You cautiously approach the entry, and peer around. The alley is long, but you can just make out a large figure, clad in black, lightsabre dueling with Zaster.

I look around the Krazy Mynock. Well I guess I could start something here. But how to go about this. I see someoen with the blaster on the table. An evil grin comes across my face. I uas the force to fire the blaster. Then I sit back to watch as all hell breaks loss.

The devorian's confident grin is replaced by a snarl, as he presses in on you, swinging against your blade with awesome power, "You've got some tallent, kid - but you're no Jedi!"

You know you can't hold out forever - he's right. You're no expert with the sabre, and his skill far supases your own. You have to consider other ways to get yourself out of this mess.

    (Vegetia)

(OCC: I can see you're going to be a trouble-maker in this game! :p)

The person with the blaster is a large human, thickset enough to suggest he was raised on a heavy-gee planet. He looks completely bewildered as his waepon shoots a wookie at the bar in the leg. The wounded individual roars, and takes out her pain on the nearest convenient target, who is unfortunately a shivastean wolfman. The two lock powerful limbs, rolling over the man-with-a-blasters table, and knocking him down. He takes offence to this, and breaks a stool over the wookies head. A table leg bounces across the room, thwacking the twi'lek waiter on the head: it must have been a bad day for him, because he was quick to join the frey, dealing a bone-shattering blow to the humans jaw. A few of the drunk patrons of the bar shrug, pick up anything that can be used as a weapon, and enter the melee. You're almost sure you see someone laying about with a protocol droids arm. You're entertainment is suddenly disrupted when the wolfman, bleeding from numerous talon cuts, stumbles into your table, picks you up bodily, and throws you into the centre of the brawl. The fighters press in around their fresh target ... you should fight back.

I prefer to learn at this point. Keeping hidden, I observe that if the fight stays with sabers, Zaster looks to be the loser.

Not entirely sure if it would be a good thing or a bad thing for her to die now, I summon a Dark Double and send him running towards them. My object will be to distract the fight long enough to use my speed to knock the attacker down, or at least off balance. I will not draw my lightsaber until absolutly needed.
