    Now for the announcements...

Please congratulate Iron_Fist on his promotion to Dark Lord! :D

    On a totally different note....

The following Masters have been moved to the retired list. I have spoken to most of them, but only received a response from some of them after they have read my PM. Some of the responses were nice and pleasant. Some were not. Some flat out didn't answer my plea. Witha couple of others...I have been down this path before...as this is not new. An agreement was reached with some of you that are deciding to retire. To those of you that were understanding and sincere....I thank you. To anyone wondering while reading this I will say that for the folks invloved, you know who are and why this is being done. It is not the end of the world. Things can and will change. I feel that some of you that are being retired took advantage of me not enforcing the rules as strictly as I could have. To those of you that didn't answer me...you can express whatever you wish in PMs....I will get back to you when I can. For anyone of you that feel that I didn't talk enough to you beforehand, I will say this much to you now....you didn't talk to me. If you think I am still in the game of reading minds you are sadly mistaken. For each person retiring it is a different situation. I am not going into details here as it would take up too much space to even attempt to go into it. It is what it is....nothing more.

The participation level and responsibility of Masters in this Order have fallen to a near all time low. "When you feel like it" or total lack of responsibility for your apprentice will not be tolerated any longer. Participation at the DLC must increase...or for some of you....actually happen in the first place as I've notice that some of our members have totally forgotten about the DLC. This has always been a part of being of the Order and it shall remain as such. Action can and will be taken to ensure that things are being followed as they should be.

    Mr.Neck or Yarael Poof
    Marold
    Minacia_Brightstar
    Killer Ewok
    Zoe
    Grimby the Hutt
    FlamingSword
    Ireth_Tasartir

The bottom line is this....if and when any of the above said Masters wish to return to active status may do so after sending me a full explanation and true expression of their desire to return to active status as a Master. This is how it's always been and I am willing to listen to anyone wishing to discuss this further through PM. If anyone wishes to discuss this in the open...especially in this thread may be doing so at their own peril.....and most likely at the real risk of removal from the Order altogether.

This is serious and I mean business. Things need to change quickly as this Roster may still get drastically smaller yet.

As for any apprentice being removed...I think that goes without saying.

As for the level of posts....and this thread being spammed up from time to time. Let's slow it down a bit from now on. Think about what you're posting and consider it may belong somewhere else...perhaps the DLC every so often. This is not a direct swipe at anyone, but just a gentle reminder. Occasional fun is cool, but let's not let it get out of hand.

    That's all for now....

    Congrats I_F. ;)

Over the past few days I admit my posting in here has been more on the 'spam' side and I apologise for any frustration caused. I will try and put more effort into my posts, and limit them.

Pity about the ones that were not active lately, and are retired.

Hrm, you guys need to update more than the roster.

Those colours assigned to people are looking awfully dated ;)

    *runs into thread*

First page! :D And congrats, IF. :D

On a more serious note ... I agree completely with what PH said, especially about DLC participation. It's always a pity to see people be retired, but it's far better than having people who are here in name only on our active section. IMO.

EDIT - BTW, PH, you still have CG listed as my apprentice on the roster ...

    I do? Darn it!

*goes off to fix it, grumbles at himself*

    Hold on...

Edit - Those colours assigned to people are looking awfully dated

They do, eh? Yeah, that may need to be fixed here soon as well.

    Yay new threadness!! :)

I am sorry to see all those people retire and especially to hear that some of them retired on ify terms... Well I hope these things can be worked out in the future...

I'm also hoping that with this new thread we will be able to make a fresh start and focus on goals of this organization that some of us (*cough*me*cough*) may have forgotten or taken for granted... if that makes any sense... probably doesn't being that it is freakishly early in the morning... :p ;)

Apologies for the non-member post: this just sparked a bit of nostalgia. I recall wanting to join the Dark Lords as a n00b back in '00, but eventually getting dissuaded from it. Being impressionable, I was convinced. That was a long time ago...

I just had a thought. Thinks might have been much different had I joined. It's amazing how life works, and how threads(threads of life) cross and recross.

So, I'd just like to congratulate you folks on your new thread, and which you prosperity.

And I'll get the heck out of your thread now. :)

Now...good luck on your new thread...and may the demons of the glitches be forever removed.

Greetings, Gina. How are you today? Good, I hope. Just tossing out a question: I saw on television that this 'life expectancy test' shall be on in Australia. Personally, I find this just plain wrong because we can't predict the future of over 50 years away. Who knows what might happen, and/or what the world will end up like. The commercial put me off even further - it showed some young lady aging rapidly. I will end up watching it just out of curiousity. I'm wondering what you people have to say about the idea of a national test.

If you're wondering about my mood, well, I'm feeling bitter and cranky. ;)

    Hi Dash :D
    I'm just fine, thanks...

A national test? Not sure I understand, but sounds a little weird....

It has finally begun to be a little sunny here!
    Just hope it'll last...

A national test would be kinda silly, since it would be easier to just predict life expectancy by looking at the statistics and coming up with a projection from there.

And even then, mathematical predictions aren't all that accurate. So it's a dumb idea overall. :p

It is weird. I'm not actually sure how it works, and I'm in no hurry to find out.

Sunny, ah I like that sort of weather. Storms and such are unpleasant, luckily none have come my way recently. Has it been horrible lately for you or something?

    edit

And even then, mathematical predictions aren't all that accurate. So it's a dumb idea overall.

True. Well I'll get back to you all on how it ''supposibly'' worked when I see it.

Dash, it has been raining and the wind has been blowing an awful lot this whole spring...
Especially the last couple of weeks has been very rainy.
So I like the change to sunny weather....

What crappy weather in the lovely season of Spring. :( I'd be enjoying every sunny day as much as possible, if I lived where you are.

I hate it when it just rains on and off during like a week. Especially when I'm at school, ugh.

I don't really mind rain when I'm at school, having classes and so...

But when I'm off, and home, I'd like it to be sunny and warm so that I can stay outside....

Well I suppose when rain cancels some P.E lessions that I would prefer to avoid, rain is on my side.

I actually don't mind being at home when it rains, it relaxes me.
