We only did a tree ... simple enough to take down. But even so, it'll stay up till Chinese New Year at least.

Ousley: Well, both, really. It was his second/third time through, it was the holidays, he spent his days in front of the PlayStation. It was more of a collaborative effort, actually - he did the story bits and bosses and the like, and his brother did (most of) the levelling up.

 

Okay, got the tree down. actually, it comes apart fairly easily, and it's all color-coded so putting it back up is pretty easy, too.

JMO, the trick to my de-decorating would really be to clean out the closets, but since I spend a lot of free time here or watching movies, it's hard. And who wants to clean out closets!

I just looked in a box and found my SW toys! My Luke Skywalker land speeder, my Luke Skywalker Rebel Fighter and my AT-AT walker! Maybe I will clean out those closets! Goodness only knows what I will find next!

We took our tree down today. Everything's packed up in the attic and the house is back to normal.

My 'hubby' was too supervising, too! Now he's my ex! Watched "My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding" today for a change of pace. I loved that the Greek girl's mom told her husband, "It's lucky I have you around to tie my shoes," after telling him she cooks, cleans, does the laundry and runs the restaurant and raised three kids.

She also told her daughter "Men are the heads of the house, but the woman is the neck and she can turn the head any way she wants!" Loved that line, too!

Of course, it'd help if I was actually head of a business but hey, logic never stopped my jokes before.

As to my apprentice, I don't know. I think she's at her dad's ranch in Texas and he doesn't have a computer.

 

I started college today.

Orientation was boring ... just a bunch of speeches, but my class is okay I guess. It seems like just high school all over again, 'cept it's bigger and there are more people and there's more pressure obviously.

I'm betting I won't be feeling so positive tomorrow.
