No it wouldnt have happened, For this reason. A new government was installed and Luke has a pretty high status in this. He would have gotten his Dad off the hook.

And really, how are you gonna punish him. The only one who would really have a chance to do anything to him is Luke and Luke wont fight him.

I recommend that DarthZchour preside over the trial if the judge pulls a no show. I will be fair and objective although I believe firmly that Vader was framed. He is innocent! Jury is excused, along with the prosecuting attorneys!

Bailiff, call me in by post as soon as the Defense and Prosecution are ready to begin. This trial, remember, is an enactment of what realy would have happened had Anakin Skywalker lived. Personal opinions may be used, but mainly from the character you are acting as's view-point.
