Having heard him talk about her, I cannot wait to see the graphic novel Grant Morrison's been writing.

 

The teaser for the teaser is out and really boring. Also a link for tickets for the teaser on Monday. It's imax only and not at the one near me (or the tickets are gone).

 

I think the Superman suit shot was reused from Man of Steel, when Jor-El gives the outfit to Clark.

Remember the days when they would just show us the ****ing trailer? I miss that.

 

I do too, but I also admit that the general climate of marketing these days won't allow that. And to an extent, I think I agree - people weirdly really like these teases, but it's a trend that has an endpoint. Film will change, and eventually we'll have a ton of Netflix-esque premieres, I suspect (or is that hope?).

Anyways, yeah - it's a dumb trend but it still works, despite it all.

Got my hopes up.

 

I don't really like how they're almost setting Batman up to be villainous. Bats is one of my favorite superheroes, in fact I'll be rooting for him over OP Mary Sue, uh, I mean Superman. I never read the comics, but the Batman I grew up with... Tim Burtons incarnation, TAS, and then the Nolan Trilogy.... all of them portrayed Batman as a Iight in a dark world, a man haunted by his past that always took the high road rather than succombing to his demons. It's just very striking to find such a more raw potrayal.

His voice sounds kinda robotic, too. It's a good trailer otherwise.

 

I know that's your first biggy, Heelsy, but it's horrible. Rethink...well all of it.
