some people know me as a comic book critic, but I'd rank the SMvBM teaser trailer as one of the best comic book teaser trailers ever. Who can't get behind the idea of a movement to throw SM off the planet? The superhero universe would be so much better without him or anyone like him.

 

I thought Bats was asking Supes if he begs? I need hearing aids.

 

A lot of people are commenting that Superman and Batman would never fight because they're friends in the comics except literally every other team-up they have involves them duking it out before finally coming to an agreement that they should be punching Lex Luthor.

It's not a new plot, but it is one we haven't seen in live-action yet. And I'm actually kind of keen to see where this movie goes, because obviously they'll be on the same side by the end of it. It's more that I want to see them have some fun with the whole "Well, can we trust this guy?" angle. Obviously we can, he's Superman, but it'll all be fun.

 

Peng edit: Maybe next time don't show the image of John Travolta shooting someone in the head, okay?

So they shouldn't pick tall actors to play Superman because special effect could make someone like Tom Crusie big enough?

 

Yeah, darth-sinister, maybe next time cut the one with John Travolta. It's bad enough he's a scientologist, but I'm drawing the line at him blowing someone's brains out.

Anywho, I'm totally cool with this movie. We can either waste our time and energy being angry that DC isn't Marvel or we can sit back and remember Aquaman is angry and that'll be amazing even if it's awful.
