That same photo shoot yielded a number of promotional and marketing images, as I recognize the gray background and white smudges on Jack's collar from the bubblegum cards etc.

I used to have that trading card series for both Burton films. My sister wound up drawing the Joker as part of a mural in the old high school that we attended, now known as the middle school. I gave her one of the cards as a reference point. Unfortunately, I've heard that it was painted over a few years back.

And Nicholson is no doubt giddy at that sweetheart deal that he got himself for being in that movie. Seriously, he made out like gangbusters.

    [face_laugh] Holy $#(& [face_rofl]

The sad thing is they could potentially port that Poseidon design into the movies.

Report: Ben Affleck to star in 3 stand-alone Batman movies

A private screening of Batman V Superman was reportedly such a success, Warner is now planning three Batman films starring Ben Affleck...

"Dawn Of Justice was screened for the film's crew and Warner bosses within the past 24 hours or so." -- lol?

It was more that they're potentially making a three-picture deal on the back of their own studio execs and the film's crew without at all learning the lessons of Man of Steel...

Man of Steel also got a rapturous response in its early screenings apparently. Won't believe anything until it comes out.

A three picture deal with Batman, a franchise which seven out of eight times has been a proven hit at the box office. Especially with the last two films. If Warner execs think that Batman's portion of the film, especially under Affleck, is strong enough to possibly warrant a three picture deal on top of what's already in place, then there seems to be a very good indication that this time might be better than the last.

I heard reports before this bit of news that Batman was going to be the Iron Man type of the DCCU, where Batman would appear somewhat in most of the films like Suicide Squad. That would make sense. Knowing there's going to be a Killing Joke movie, I'd also like to see a Hush movie or perhaps an adaptation of the Arkham video games.

Right, this purported three-picture deal might not be standalones, but rather guest appearances. Batman's presence in, say, an Aquaman movie might spur attendance to an untried property.

Yeah, I think that would be a wonderful business plan for WB/DC. I just hope they don't try and shoe horn him when it doesn't fit the story. I mean, I don't want Batman punching sharks in the nose underwater when it really doesn't fit the story being told.

That's fair; the report certainly didn't seem like that was the case but you may be correct.

It is one of the more brilliant mythological runs of the character. The depth of characterization given to every single member of the Greek pantheon is commendable.
