I think if DC decides to make a sequel in the same way Marvel glazed over Hulk with TIH and just went and made a movie about the GL Corps out doing their space cop thing, it would be a pretty cool movie.

My question is if they will go the Marvel route with video games and just do adaptions instead of doing original stories.

DC would probably never do straight - up adaptations for their video games and films.

I would want a original episodic series like the Walking Dead game.

I don't think DC could get the rights to Spider-Man to make that happen.

Like, instead of a penis or just something to carry around?

Instead of, I think. I could kneel over a mirror, enjoy the washing machine's spin cycle. If I was carrying it around I'd stick it in my pocket, fingering it now and again as I do my keys. While enjoyable, it's ultimately forgettable.

The show is on Netflix and a couple different places online. Bruce Wayne as an older mentor type character? It has promise. The series was amazing. The new Batman was awesome. The villains are nice and engaging.

Much of the future of DC movies is, as I've said before, going to rest on the office politics presently going on at Warner Bros. Jeff Robinov oversaw both the Dark Knight trilogy and MOS; but Robinov is leaving Warner Bros, leaving bean counter Kevin Tsujihara in charge of WB's film division at least for the interim. This is why nobody, from Chris Nolan down, will confirm or deny whether a JL movie is going to be made, because it seems to have been something Robinov was pushing for rather than a generally-thought good idea.

And we have to face the reality that there is a case for WB not to play catch-up with Marvel on this. You are looking at a flood of superhero movies in the next few years from Marvel. The comic book crowd has only so much money, and the general flathead moviegoing public only so much interest in superhero films. If you start adding a lot of standalone DC characters into the mix, you risk a market glut and people just ignoring, say, an Aquaman movie because there's so many other films out there. I think that's a big reason why WB never releases anything but a Superman film or Batman film: because they're not into big risk and they know from decades of box office returns that people will come and see those two. If it ain't broke...

As for a Wonder Woman film: unlikely, I think, anytime soon. Like it or not, the audiences that watch superhero movies don't watch superheroes with vaginas, even if you rip half their clothes off as happened with Electra. Fair enough there's a lot of chicken and egg here because female superhero films have been pieces of celluloid crap for the most part, but people did not spring twenty-odd bucks to see Black Widow in The Avengers. They sprung to see Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, The Cap, or all of them together. And I don't see brave, pioneering Marvel Studios out there producing single feature pieces for its female heroes.

I DON'T THINK KATE BECKINSALE OR JUST KATE BECAUSE WE'RE ACTUALLY QUITE CLOSE IS TOO OLD TO PLAY WONDER WOMANS DO YOU GUYS AGREES?

Actually, let's try this as Skwisgaar or Toki:

Guys, I don'ts thinks Kates Beckinsale is too olds to play the Wonder Womans.

Superman Returns in my personal play book has the unfortunate distinction of having a video game adaptation more exciting than the parent movie.

    Also, Darth_Arapsis - um, what?!
