What do you think five issues of Black Adam causing mayhem on a global scale are like?

Yep. This is the time when Jason Todd becomes Nightwing and begins his brutal reign. See the crappy "Nightwing: Blood Brothers" TPB.

So, any bets on the new word for Black Adam?

    My top ten list:
    10) "Peace."
    9) "Cupcake!"
    8) "STELLA!"
    7) "D'oh!"
    6) "LOL!"
    5) "Giggitygiggity!"
    4) "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
    3) "Mazahs!"
    2) "Sorry!"
    1) "Welcome to the Oval Office, President Gore."

Ah, OK. I don't read DC products other than 52 or Green Lantern occasionally.

    I vote for 'your mom'.

I knew that worm was gonna be significant somehow. But since I'm much more of a Marvel reader than DC, I've never even heard of Mr. Mind before.

I am apparently clueless, and have missed something. Where did that worm originally appear?

That's the final mystery. My guess is that Mr. Mind discovered the secret of 52 and went to destroy it or conquer it. He took possession of Skeets in order to do what he wanted to do and Booster would be his unwitting slave. But because Booster met with Rip Hunter, he was able to find out what was going on and thus we have what we've had go on.

Bah, he doesn't look all that scary though. Well, he does look scary, but he's like the size of a toddler, what kind of damage can he really do? Oh, and the only shots of him that they have on Wikipedia make him look like a Pokemon character.

I'm thinking that since he could eat his way out of the Phantom Zone and kill Waverider, he can do whatever the hell he wants. :p

Now, here is something I really don't like about DC. And Marvel, for that matter. Reveals that mean absolutely nothing to casual readers. Absolutely zilch. Having Skeets built up as a villain, and then for him to finally be revealed as being Mr. Mind, does not have the sort of value to me that I think that DC expects. I think that they expected me to go "Mr. Mind! ZOMG! That just blew my mind, and makes total sense." Instead, I'm left going "Huh?" Having Skeets go evil, for whatever reason, is a plotline that I found interesting. Having him turn out to be a Pokemon from Venus that I've never heard of before makes the build over the last 51 weeks a lot less interesting in retrospect. When I reread it, I won't be looking at things going "A-ha! That makes so much sense now!" Instead, I'm going to be more of "Uh-huh. Next issue."

There's really only a handful of villains that are able to be used as such. The Joker and Lex Luthor are of course the most recognizable villains, but they're used so often it's easy to sigh and not be excited when it's revealed that it is in fact them behind recent chaos. Darkseid can be used that way. Sinestro can probably be used that way. Not many others. Mr. Mind, definitely not.

Darkseid is behind everything. Look at the signs. His hand has been guiding all these events.
