Here it is, the final installment in the dead ARC Trooper III -The Dark Man. Please R&R.

The Dead ARC Trooper III ? The Dark Man

Peace. That was what she felt there, at the site of their parting. The land was now empty, shipped away and melted down a long time ago. It was here where they had spent those precious weeks together, it was here where they decided to start a family. It was here where he had died for her.

Her last memory of her husband was him walking down a set of stairs clad in his ARC Trooper armor, and holding a blaster rifle in his hands. He had used the Force to fly a fighter up to the roof to rescue Sarh and herself. HE had died there, in the building.

A beeping sound came from behind her. Larwene turned to see her R2 unit, R2-C7, rolling down the landing ramp of the Republic Sienar Systems? BR-23 Courier she had borrowed from the Rebel Base?s hanger.

?What is it Sea-Seven?? Larwene demanded as it warbled on.

Larwene raced back to the switch, and followed C7 to the cockpit and the sensor unit. A blue triangle appeared on it, and it was heading towards them.

?Sithspawn! ETA?? she demanded as she buckled into the pilot?s seat and hit the switch that retracted the ramp.

On the translator screen it said: ETA = 7 seconds.

Even as she raced to get the transport started up, the ARC-171 Advanced Starfighter sped over her vessel and towards the Imperial Garrison a ways away. ?What in Corellia?s nine Hells??

The ARC dodged laser fire from anti-air turrents and a large flash of light shot out from under the starboard S-foils, and smoke trailed as a missile was released and it shot right into an ammunition shed, igniting warheads and explosive shells, causing a huge explosion to blossom up.

Then, an anti-air turrent got a lock-on on the ARC, and stopped firing its light blaster cannons, and fired of a concussion missile. It slammed into the fighter?s shields, broke through, and damaged the fighter, sending it trailing towards the ground.

?Sea-Seven. Get the ship on line and keep her hot. I?ll be back,? she ordered and headed towards the back of the ship where a weapons locker waited. With her twins, she wasn?t taking any unnecessary risks, but she felt through the Force that she needed to help that brave pilot.

She unlocked the locker and grabbed a full-body, light armored suit, and slipped it over her skin-tight white pants and shirt, and zipped it up, and then grabbed an ALICE pack and buckled it over the green-gray mesh of her body armor.

Larwene grabbed a canteen and attached it to her belt, and stuffed her pack with food-bars, hydration shots, and adrenaline shots, ect. She buckled a light universal holster to her belt and slipped a DC-15s blaster pistol in it, and on another holster on the other side she slipped a semi-automatic Heavy Slugthrower pistol.

As she sorted through the rest of the locker she grabbed clips full of plasma-coated slugs, and stuck them on her ALICE straps and belt. On her other ALICE strap she attached different times of grenades, mines, and bombs.

As a last add-on she snapped a blast-helm over her head and slung a DC-15 Light Repeating Blaster around her shoulder. ?Its show time!?

She reached the Imperial Garrison within minutes, and saw a large hole in the wall where a missile had impacted. She quietly slipped in and looked around. Dead Stormtrooper bodies littered the ground?and most of them without heads. A few bloody clone heads lingered on the ground, and pained Larwene, because every one looked just like Lance.

Suddenly she heard the pangs of blaster fire around a corner, and she stealthily slithered around the corner to stare out at a fight that was taking place. On the ground lay a small box, two feet long and a foot wide, and next to it stood a cloaked man, the one she had seen back at the base, with a blue energy blade protruding from his sleeve, and he sped into action, slicing troopers down. The Force seemed to radiate from him as huge waves of energy. He cut one in half, leaving a smoking ruin exper

I suspect it's her husband, back from death! Otherwise, why she would be surprised at the ending?
