well if anyone noticed i was awol for a bit.........just spent the last 10 days in hospital, anything exciting happen here? Me, well i just ate crappy food and bitched with the nurses, and watched a hell of a lot of tv and reread lord of the rings among other books

on another note it is friggin weird not being able to go online
being in hospital kinda cuts you off, i had no idea how much time
i spent online till now, and how much of m day to day interaction goes
via emailand the net rather than RL....something to think about

 

Yes I've been thinking that very same thing lately. I look at what I was doing a year ago and well now it's kinda freaky.

 

i sorta got addicted to irc for about 2 years, but i have stopped using it for about a year now....

 

I just hooked up with ICQ two days ago, I'm wondering if that was a wise idea.

 

i'm not a big fan of icq or those other IM, although i have used them alot, they are good though if you have specific people you want to talk with, me i prefer the bulletin board, you can take it or leave it, there is no need to be constantly attentive........you can be quite detached without being rude

 

The exact reason why I prefer boards over chat. I don't like chat at all. But ICQ is good for keeping in touch with certain people.

 

I was hooked on ICQ for a while, but it seemed to be taking up my spare time.

Gotta agree, boards are a better way to
chat.
