Revan's shuttle was in transit from the shipyards at Kuat back to the Adjudicator. He had just bartered a deal allowing them raw materials and building rights on a number of worlds owing their existence to defense forces led by Revan. He was beloved by the enlisted men for his tenacity in battle, the victories against impossible odds, and for his fearless manner against all who stood against them. But even more importantly than his ability to maneuver large fleets in battle and invent new ground tactics for shock troops, was his ability to keep them supplied with men and munitions. Often Revan would be heard saying "An army marches on its stomach," referring to acquisition foodstuffs from small growing economies he had tendered. Malak, the righteous bulldog himself, would be amazed when Revan said things like "80% of warfare is posturing, rarely should we even engage in battle." Malak would prefer to meet them face to face, but trusted in the strategy as long as it brought them victory. The size of the fleet Revan commanded constituted 1/4 of the entire defense force, and was made up of independent militia, revamped police forces, and even a detatchment of Republic military ships at the tip of the spear. They were credited with gaining more territory against the Mandalorians than the rest of the fleet combined, with some areas of the front still extending into the mid-rim.
"Sir, you've got a holo coming through, it's Vice Admiral Karath," the lieutenant chimed from the number two seat.
"Put it through," Revan had become someone important of late, how strange. Karath's three-dimensional image appeared on the holo atop the comm desk.
    "What's the report?" Karath asked
"They've agreed to the 200 hundred medium battleships and 5 capitals. He'll have them shipped through Taris for fitting and redeployment within the month."
"Understood, I suggest we get underway, long range scanners around delta 266 have lost contact. The Mandalorians may be regrouping there in preparation for another attack inward." Karath was all business, like a machine, a good commander.
"No, let them regroup. We wait for supplies here. That sector is forfeit. We'll regroup with the rest of the fleet and bolster our presence at Kril'dor."
"Understood," Karath said immediately. Revan never listened to if's, and's or but's.

The shuttle docked, Revan exited with no parade or welcome, he had forbidden it. "Do your damn jobs," he'd say. He was immediately bombarded by various aides asking him questions about supply distribution, ship formations, troop training activities and interfleet messages. Each of them was given no more than a one sentence answer and dismissed. The future of the war was to be discussed now. Revan took the intraship transport to the top deck, followed by no escort at all. Two cooks with boxed food stood in the transport, trying not to stare at the revered Jedi. He entered. it didn't take a Jedi to sense the fear of these two men, whose jobs were of the more unsung type. Revan's security chip in his finger automatically overrode the transport's d
