So now I've been sentanced to three days in the meditation chamber. Basically what you do in the meditation chamber is obviously just that-meditate. On what you've done wrong, more specifically. For me, it's one of the worst forms of punishment fathomable. All you do is sit. And think. And think. And sit. For three days straight. Maybe someone like Obi-wan might find joy in this, but for me...ugh.

I could have been mature and walked away

You could have and should have, Siri.

It's unfortunate she had to learn the hard way but perhaps next time, and I'm sure there will be a next time, she will be able to do the right thing.

    Great update

Well, I have to go and live out my punishment in the (gulp) meditation chamber. This may be my last entry.

So, maybe Obi-Wan will create some - diversion - to end up in there with her to cheer her up? Wouldn't that be fun?

Oh my goodness. I thought my name was bad! Poor Siri!

Actually, my name isn't long or anything, but my parents decided to stick me with the semi-unusual name and give my brother and sister popular names, so I can (somewhat) sympathize.

And the meditation chamber doesn't sound fun at all. But I bet she'll live through it.:p

    Great job, Crystal!

My time in the meditation chamber so far hasn't been as awful as I expected. Far from it.
This is due to the lovely surprise of an unexpected...guest.

I arrived at the chamber this morning, only with some extra clothes and toiletries to keep me company. A stern faced male Jedi, who I later learned whose name was Loster Insig, escorted me to what will be my room for the next few days.

It's a small, plain, white walled room wih a harshly cold tile floor. There is a simple sleep couch pushed into one corner, a gross looking sink in the other. I wouldn't be surprised if there were prisons with better acondimations.

I had set my belongings down at the foot of the bed, and then sat down on it myself. It creaked in a disheartining sort of way under my weight. I had sighed, crossed my legs and closed my eyes. Not a second later, there was a tremendos clattering from out in the hallway. My eyes jerked open in surprise. I heard the sound of running feet and some shouting but that was all. I closed my eyes again. Meditate on what I've done wrong, huh? I thought drily to myself. I punched Zineta. It was stupid. The End. I sighed heavily. "It's going to be a long day." I muttered to myself.
"Pehaps I could make it more enjoyable for you" a little accented voice said from right in front of me.

I nearly lept out of my skin. My eyes flew open to see Obi-wan sitting, cross legged, right before me.

"So sorry. Did I scare you?" he asked, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He was seated so close to me that the tips of our knees were touching, and his breath warmed my face as he spoke. Suddenly the room didn't seem so cold.

    "Um, no" I stammerd.
    "That's good".

I stared at him. I have a feeling my jaw was slack. What the hell? Had I somehow willed him to appear out of thin air? How in the-

Obi-wan had interrupted my thoughts. "Aren't you going to ask me how I got in?" he inquiered, his gray-blue eyes sparkeling mischievously.

I shook my head quickly to clear it. "Yeah. How did you get in?"

He had a look on his face I could only call smug. "Let's just say that I created enough of a mess to keep them occupied for quite a while. Then I snuck into this room, and sat down".

    I blinked. "Why didn't I sense you?"

He shrugged. "I guess I can be pretty quiet."

    "Oh."

We were silent for a moment and just looked at each other. Force, why did his eyes have to be so blue? I wondered desperatly as I felt blush creep up my cheeks.

    Obi-wan frowned."Why are you blushing?"

Damn, he noticed I thought. I quickly turned my head and let my hair fall over my face to hide my flaming cheeks. "I'm not blushing."

"Yes you are" Obi-wan said, frowning, concerned. He reached over and gently brushed my hair away from my face. He then touched my cheek. "See, your face is warm."

And of course, his touch made my cheeks even hotter. I glanced around, desperate for an escape. I then noticed that Obi-wan had had several small packages in his other hand.

    "What's that?" I asked pointing.

He removed his hand from my cheek, still frowning. "You're changing the subject."

I stuck my tongue out at him. "I am not. Now out with it-what are you holding?"

He raised an eyebrow at me but answered my question. "Your journal, some food, and a late birthday present".

"My journal!" I exclaimed as he handed me the familier blue book. "You didn't read any of it, did you?"

He frowned at me. "Of course not."

"Oh. Of course" I said, embarrassed at my own silliness. "Thank you for bringing it to me."

Obi-wan smiled. "I noticed how much you enjoyed writing in it, so I figured I'd bring it so you could have something to keep you occupied while you're here."

    I grinned. "Thanks. Again."

    "You're welcome."

He then handed me something wrapped in a white cloth that resembled a napkin. "Seeing as I've never been to the meditation chambers, I wouldn't know if the food were any good, but still, I imagined it would be less than pleasent. So I brought you some f

I suppose I might as well get it out of my system. So I've created a list of 10 reasons why I like you-know-who. I'll probably shoot myself later for writing this, but oh well.

    1. He's sarcastic.
    2. He's smart.
    3. He makes me laugh.
    4. I can be myself around him.
    5. He's the only one who can kick my butt when we spar.
    6. He's very nice.
    7. He's insanely stubborn. And it's kind of hot.
    8. He tries his hardest at all he does.
    9. He's really, really hot. His smile, his chin, his accent, his eyes...damn, why does he have to be so hot?
    10. I think he feels the same way I feel for him.

    Oh geez, that was embarrassing.

AW - just great. Those two sweet kids...you did a great job of "running with it."

I think Siri and I are twins. These are exactly the things I like in a guy (except they don't necessarily have to be hot). And I would feel the same way about writing them down.[face_blush]

I like Obi-wan. Maybe my feelings for him are even more then "like".

At least she is admitting it now - that's a good thing.

Though I do understand her not being ready to even think about anything else. After all, that is a Jedi no-no.

I loved Obi-Wan surprising her the way he did

    Entry 10

Obi-wan came back to visit me today, as he'd promised. He brought a note from Kylee with him too.

"So she has you playing messanger boy now?" I'd teased.

He grinned. "She's dying without you, you know."

I chuckled and opened the note, which I've taped in here:

    Hi Siri!

OMG I miss you soooo much. I need someone to talk to! I mean, I know I have Carmen and Bant, but Carmen can be soooo emo and Bant is soooo quiet. I can't wait until you get back. Have you died of boredom yet? Oh yeah, that's right, you probably haven't because you-know-who has been visiting you on a daily basis, lol. Isn't that sweet of him?
    Gosh you're lucky!
Not much has happened except that Fasushi's nose is twice the size of her head, lol. So what's up over there? Aside from having long, romantic visits with your boyfriend?
    Just kidding.
Like I said before, I miss you! Hurry back!!!
    See ya soon,
    Kylee

I wrote a note back to her for Obi-wan to deliver, saying:

    Hey you!

I miss you too. I'm sorry that there isn't anyone for you to talk to. Have you tried trees? I've heard they're great listeners.
    Just kidding.
There isn't much to report here. Obi-wan's great company, but I need a girl to talk to.
So I haven't died of boredom...yet. Although I think your report on Z.F.'s nose has given me the strength to carry on. Haha!
    See you soon,
    Siri

I had laughed again after I'd read her note. "That's Kylee, alright."
Obi-wan smiled. He was leaning against the wall, arms folded across his chest. "Only one more day until you get out of here."

"Maybe tomorrow I'll actually do some meditating" I commented drily. I flopped down onto the sleep couch, my MusicPod in hand. I began absentmindedly flipping through the songs.

"As much as I thought this was going to suck, it's actually turned out pretty nice, as far as punishments go."
    "Mmhmm."

I suddenly found a familier song on the MusicPod. I sang quietly along with the lyrics.

We were both young when I first saw you,
I close my eyes and flashback starts,
I'm standing there, on a balcony in summer air...

"What song are you singing?" Obi-wan asked, sitting on the edge of the bed next to me.

I turned up the volume so he could hear too.

You were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles,
And my Daddy said stay away from Juliet,
And I was crying on the staircase, begging you please don't go...

Obi-wan held his hand out to me suddenly. I stared at him blankly.

He chuckled at my confusion. "May I have this dance?" he asked.

I sat up in surprise. "Um...dancing...me...um..."

Taking that as a yes, he grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet.

More or less finding my voice, I managed to choke out "I don't dance that well-"

Obi-wan inturrupted me. "Don't worry, it's very easy. Just follow my lead."

He placed his hand on the small of my back "See, just hold my arm like this" he directed "And hold my hand like this."

He laced his fingers with mine. I felt something like electricity shoot through my veins. I felt that inevitable flush spread across my face, right on cue. Obi-wan gave me a funny sort of look but didn't say anything.

Dancing actually wasn't that hard. I was struck by how natural it felt, as easy as breathing.

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone,
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run,
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story, baby just say yes.
Romeo save me they're trying to tell me how to feel,
This love is difficult, but it's real,
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess,
It's a love story, baby just say yes...

"Can I ask you something?" Obi-wan asked me.

I tilted my head back to see his face. "Shoot."

"Why do you always blush when I'm around nowadays?"

I bit my lip. "Ah, what do you mean?"

"So you've been keeping tabs on how often I blush?"

He shook his head. "No. I just notice things."

    "I see."

"Well aren't you going to tell me why?"

    "There is no reason why."

"If you say so." He sounded as though he didn't really believe me though.

I loved the way you've written Obi-Wan, and it's easy to see what sort of man he'll become by his mannerisms :)

And Siri's very well written too. Must confess I hadn't considered what teenage Jedi would be like. I'd assume they're all hormones and stuff at that age too I guess...(such a long time since I was a teenager lool)
