With the new trailer out I felt people would want to discuss the upcoming live action Winnie The Pooh film starring Ewan McGregor as the adult Chrisopher Robin, Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn Robin, Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline Robin and Mark Gatiss as his boss Giles Winslow with Jim Cummings returning as the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Chris O'Dowd as the voice of Tigger, Nick Mohammed as the voice of Piglet, Brad Garrett as the voice of Eeyore, Sophie Okonedo as the voice of Kanga, Toby Jones as the voice of Owl, Peter Capaldi as the voice of Rabbit and Wyatt Dean Hall returning as the voice of Roo.

I wonder how many more adults will be in attendance then kids kinda like all these remakes of classics are. Ditto Incredibles 2. :)

i'm definitely about to be that guy and I hate it, but what exactly makes Wreck-It-Ralph 2 and Christopher Robin so monumental that ppl can't gush over it in the Disney gushing thread?

I was joking yesterday that the reveal of Pooh came across as almost ominous.

    "Christopher Robin."

There is no reason. Both should be discussed in the Disney thread. @heels1785 merge them and I won't make many comments about DCEU today. Deal?

    Pooh is so monumental.

But I agree, and bribery always helps! Merging the two (?) RIW2 threads and this one into Disney Magic in 3, 2, 1..

Why does the trailer say "from the studio that brought you Beauty & the Beast"?

I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with Disney by now :p

Well, it has the adisney logo at the start, they just want a quick reminder of their last and hugely successful live action remake.

Why is Jim Cummings playing Pooh, but not Tigger?

That's so weird to me, his voice for Tigger is pretty much iconic.

That teaser has me hooked on the film.

So much better feels to it than the Fox Searchlight production, Goodbye Christopher Robin.

I wonder if Ewan will get to sing.

I think it's just gonna be a Disney Channel Original Movie. Though I do really like the casting of the kid from The Goldbergs as Ron; I thought that was spot on.
