Challenge The Disney Song-Fic Roulette!

Welcome to the Disney Song-Fic Roulette! This is where I give you a Disney song and you write a song-fic using the lyrics! Below, you will find a sign up for 72 chosen Disney songs; 72 songs for the 72 years of Disney films. These come from Disney Animated Feature Films, Pixar films, several Disney half animation/half live action films, and a few "other" Disney films. I tried to pick at least one song from a majority of the Disney Feature Films, but some films just didn't have songs to use!

I tried my best to choose songs that can be taken in a more open context. So even though I personally would love to have used "Cruella De Vil," there's really not much you can do with that, is there? Also, I need to mention that a huge majority of the songs are centered on love/romance. Sorry. It's Disney, and those are the broadest/most numerous songs.

Pick a number (1-72) and post in this thread saying which you would like. I will then PM you the song you have selected.

You then must write a song-fic using this song. Your story can be Star Wars or Non Star Wars.

Once written, post your song-fic in the appropriate forum (NSWFF, Before the Saga, Saga, or Beyond the Saga). Then, post in this thread with a link to your story and what song you had.

If you would like to do more than one, please do not ask for a 2nd number until you have finished the first one.

Try to be original. If you get a song from Robin Hood, please don't use Prince of Thieves or Men in Tights as your fandom.

What's a Song-Fic?

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, a Song-Fic is usually a one-shot vignette where you write a story interspersed with the lyrics of a particular song. As an example (and to pimp my own stuff), here is one I have written, using Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams: LINK.

If you have the title of teh song, just google it with "lyrics" and a bunch of stuff should come up.
