Hey I like all the shiny new colors round here!

LDU did you get my PM the other day regarding digital artwork?
I got my Amurle'ah sketch done and need to finish with a digital background. Any help would be Appreciated!

SSS, yes, I did get you PM. Did I not respond to it? I remember writing something about masking and sending it to you. Perhaps I didn't push send or it got lost by the server, its been acting a bit odd lately.

Anyways, best way to lift a forground from its background is to trace the foreground with the Pen Tool, turn the trace into a selection and cut it and paste it into a new document with a transparent background on its own layer.

If you use a high zoom while tracing your foreground you can make the most remarkably accurate selections that way.

You can also try to use a layer mask and try to mask out the background around the foreground with the paintbrush, but it is less accurate and you will end up with fuzzy edges around your foreground when you go to paste it into your new document. That is if you use a soft brush setting.

In reply to the increased interest of our FFC mods to our three particular groups; Darth Underwear, Master_of_Les_Paul, and I are agreed that if one of our three groups are moved then all three of our groups will go together.

At this time there does not seem to be an immanent eviction planned, but plans are in the works for us if such an eventuality is to take place.

As of now, we wait and see.

I'm sure I'll have some more points for that list if I'd try to think properly ...
