    7.

Black Adam vs. Baron Mordo (prepped)
    Yeah, Mordo here.

    Firelord vs. Batman (Prepared)

Yeah, Batman is many things, but here he's just toast. HA!HA! wordplay. Firelord

    Ten.

    Ultron (prepared) vs. Mongul
    Ultron.

    Iron Man (prepared) vs. Super-Skrull
    Iron Man...move along.

    1

    Loki (prepared) vs. Cassandra Nova
    Loki

Phoenix (Rachel Summers) vs. Reed Richards (Prepared)
    Reed

    6

    Sinestro vs. Annihilus (prepped)
Annihilus, yeah, Annihilus can take this.

    Omni-Man vs. Supergirl
Omni-Man is more brutal and can keep up with everything else. Plus he has tons of one-on-one experience.

    11

    Battlebeast vs. Exodus
Eh, Exodus is a bum. But his he has enough here, I'd think. Mainly because Battlebeast is not all that...he gives no reason to believe he would be creative enough to shut his brain off and he's given no reason to believe that TP wouldn't work on him.

    Nimrod vs. The Immortal
Nimrod, definitely. Immortal has durability, but strong enough beams and hits can separate body parts. And Nimrod is good at that.

    8

    Doomsday vs. Terrax
    lol, Terrax. Doomsday.

    Blue Beetle (Prepared) vs. Nova
Blue Beetle could take this in a few years. The scarab is a lot like the centurion helmet. Except Blue Beetle doesn't have the power of all the scarabs, Nova has all the centurions as of this draft. Nova

    5

    Despero vs. Maestro
    DES-PEAR-OH.

    Mary Marvel vs. Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is a bit higher tier than Mary.

    12

General Zod trumped w/ Bizzaro vs. Magneto
I actually am inclined to go with Mags here. He can raise his shields pretty fast and then it's just a matter of winning through his powers vs. their speed and power. And neither of these Super knockoffs have shown much in the way of using speed and technique at the same time.

Green Lantern (John Stewart) vs. Etrigan, The Demon
Alas the numbers were too cruel,
For the green light will surely win this duel,
    So it comes, once again,
The time for the fall of Etrigan.

    3

General Zod (frofeit) vs. King Hypeness
    Hype.

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) vs. Dark Ages Spawn (Lord Covenant)
Kyle paints Covenant a new face. And he needs one, too.

Also: Seid would take Juggs. Eventually. It may last as long as this draft, but eventually Juggs would be out long enough that we could call it. Balk at it all you want. But I'm sticking with it.

I could see that if it was one of those pain building up things where each shot hurts a little... But where is anywhere near evidence that 1 shot will hurt at all? Juggernaut isn't hurt by being the same strength of those that can hurt Darkseid (such as Superman). In fact being unhurt by a Celestial blast means that he is unhurt by a being who is...
    A. Able to obliterate The Destroyer in one shot, which is itself powerful enough to
    B. Resist all attacks from Mjolnir which is able to
    C. Beat Superman bloody (though it didn't defeat him)

So, the Omega beams do roughly more damage than Mjolnir but not all that much more. Juggernaut is unhurt by stuff that does at the very least triple that damage but more likely exponentially more damage.

I understand the whole "Juggernaut is slow he can't hit Darkseid" thing, but Darkseid literally cannot hurt him. I could punch a steel wall all day but I would never damage it. Only one actually has the ability to win this match.

And yeah, Exodus wins that easily by previously established statutes. I know yall hate him. I do too. But he wins.

And furthermore I'm the only one arguing. My opponent isn't even here. Give me the dang match and end this thing. Call it a draw. Heck, give it to Shurron or Whitey or whoever. I want to win but I really want it to end. Just end it.

Well, of course I wasn't going to stand on this one. I'll look into the Magneto one as well. It's probably teams, so just start arguing for that, anyway.

If anyone else, at all, feels like they have something to say about Darkseid vs Juggernaut, they can go ahead and say it. I'm going to look at Juggernaut more closely. But for now, it's probably teams.

Teams... Sounds like Onslaught wins. Alone. As ridiculous as Despero is he has been marginally hurt by some JL attacks. Very occasionally. And healed immediately.

But the point, dangit, is that Onslaught only appeared to feel some sort of pain when he was concentrating on Franklin Richards and his... Well I don't understand it. His physical form seemed to be 4-5 places at once and some members of the F4 and Bishop were able to seemingly cause him pain. Of course he then told Franklin to wait just a moment and he blew them all into unconsciousness in an instant.

Then there was Thor using Mjolnir to free Xavier from him. Armor was broken but he was unhurt and said so.

Apocalypse paled in comparison and he knew it.

He punched Juggernaut into unconsciousness with 1 punch and shattered his armor. Again you can see what Juggernaut has withstood so apparently his punch is... Well, way beyond anything in this draft, as are most of his serious attacks. His mental powers as well, as he was able to control Hulk easily. Hulk's mind is better than most psi-blockers.

Onslaught has Magneto's shields. At least as powerful as Magnetos and I'd imagine moreso since all his Magneto/Xavier powers are suped-up (Psychic and Magnetic powers feed off each other in Marvel, or interfere with each other depending on how they're used.)

He's also psionic energy. Try hurting that. Wiki doesn't mention it till final form but it's clear when Thor runs through his armor that he has no physical body even then. The only other psionic being I remember is Proteus who had a weakness to metal. Onslaught has no such weakness.

So to sum up... Power unparalleled, shields ridiculous (although he doesn't seem to care to use them much), mental power nigh unstoppable (but again he only takes over... Well I think it's just Hulk).

Oh yeah and he trapped Juggernaut in the Cyttorak crystal, which.. Well his powers don't explain how he did it. He's just that good (in fact he was able to give Jean her Phoenix powers but it's never told how powerful he made her till she refused him and he took it away, and this was before Phoenix was completely indestructible but... Was still beyond this draft).

The bottom line is Marvel made a character who couldn't be beat. And, quite frankly, he wasn't beat. And he won't be beat.
And I really don't feel I should have to argue my other guys when I have him.

And then he, Despero, Darkseid, and probably Juggernaut should leave this draft. At least there's a rough idea of what can hurt King Hype. And Darkseid seems to be too controversial to continue (although I'd like to just have a written consensus that we'll use his post-Doomsday appearances. I mean the dude is still pretty ridiculous). I have some more guys that can fill the evil void.

It's not like there are any mistakes on either team. I don't like to just vote for someone, and I'm not, really, just looking at it I think Onslaught is the better 1st round pick, being as that is the case, he'll probably win. And then win. And then win again.

Either way, several of the characters involved in this battle aren't going to be there next time, I should't wonder.

    Winner: No one.

    I mean Onslaught.

    Whatever.

Yeah, I think Onslaught's backfield also has a better chance of hanging with the front of the other team allowing Onslaught to really run wild through the other team. And that's really what I'm basing my opinion on.

    WINNER: Onslaught.

Thank you, thank you. On behalf of The Yak, the Board of Directors, the coach and all the fine players here for the Inferno, I would like to say how humbled I am by this experience. You know, I feel truly honored this evening to be standing here as the spokesperson for a championship team in the all-star draft. We went through times of frustration, times of hardship, times of straight-up malady, but we persevered. And that's what it's all about. Perseverance. I truly believe... Well, at least I'm speaking for The Yak, and he truly believes, that if you persevere with intensity, integrity and intelligence, you too can become a comic draft champion.

Thank you again. This is truly an honor. The Yak loves you all.

This is the list. Final suggestions will be considered, but not necessarily adhered to.

One thing is new this time: we're going with paired picks. When you see a pick listed as, for example, Luke Cage/Iron fist, you are picking both characters which will act as a free trump. Trumps are still an option, and the partner picks are available to trump together or prepare. The only difference from a normal pick is that you are getting two for one.

There are two teams listed(Teen Titans and New X-Men) from which you may draw any two characters listed and use as a team pick. Remember, only two at a time, but you must choose two. No mixing them up(New X-Men with New X-men and Titans with Titans).

If you don't see someone, be sure to ask about them. Possibly they were overlooked, or possibly they were removed.

    Sinister Six
    Dr. Octopus
    Electro
    Kraven
    Mysterio
    Sandman
    Vulture

To make it eight like the other lists, I can throw in two from either Hobgoblin, Shocker, Chameleon or Lizard. Or possibly Venom, now that I look.
