Ok, so I was just at WalMart, I picked up this to get Anthony Daniels to sign.

 

Leash and I saw that last night, and thought of you John!! I thought it was worth it just for the hologram figure in the back.

 

So how many hours before Dragon Con??????

Yeah John it's perfect, we saw that and thought of you and Christina did almost buy it, with the idea that she got to keep the hologram. LOL!

Nibbor11, thanks! Most of us who are going are riding together, except for our two airplanians. LOL!

 

Okay...my back is killing me from cutting fabric at my kitchen table, my fingers are blistered from hand-sewing faux suede, my new tattoo itches like mad...and to top things off, I GOT BITTEN ON MY LEG BY A BROWN RECLUSE THURSDAY NIGHT. No lie. So, I guess no shorts for me in Atlanta. Really, it's *that* ugly looking.

Sigh...methinks the gods are against me...

How many days is it now?

 

Oh that is terrrible! I hate spiders. I hope you are doing better. But think of all the fun we will be having in 4 or so days...

 

I have the ewok endor set and my c3po always sat in that chair.

 

Ok, everyone, bring your raincoats. By the forecasts, there is the remnant of a hurricane that is going to hit on Friday...

 

Ugh! Will we have to travel on the streets to get everywhere or is it all connected somehow?

ahhhh, Amy did it all by herself. They look wonderful! My petticoat is done, but I had to spend two hours fixing Steve's mess that brought down our network, so I am almost out of time to get the over skirt done, and the hundred other things that need to get done before Wednesday...

But the hurricane seems to have weakened and changed course somewhat so hopefully, Laura you and Dajuan won't get into a mess...

Oh, and Christopher Judge has cancelled too. Darn it.

 

I hope not too. If anything happens you will be the first to know.


Costumes are looking great!

 

Hey people staying in my room, I'll bring toothpaste to share if someone else brings body wash, like the liquid kind. I don't have any and I hate using the little bars of soap they supply.

<2 days now!!

 

I thought toothpaste was on the banned list for flying. Not sure about that though.

 

It is banned for carry on, so I'll either check it or put it in my other bag. Contact solution up to 4oz is not though, strange. (Yes I looked up the whole list the other day, was worried about my makeup.)

 

Hey y'all!! Brandon and I got here a little before 1 pm. We're at the Marriott--gonna grab some rest, then venture out to see what's going on. Great view from our room...too bad I'm scared of heights!!!

Susan, it was great to see you and Brandon again.
In a couple of days after everyone has rested and ate/sobered up... we will need to share best Dragoncon stories. What a frickin fun time!

 

Those of us of that drove are all home, safe and sound! phew, it was a great time, but boy, am I tired. And I don't want to drive anywhere for at least 24 hours!! Pictures to come shortly!!

 

Glad to hear you had a safe trip home. Four days of that much fun really does wear you out. Today I am doing nothing but sleeping and vedging. So good to be home.

 

Oh man that was fun! Saving up now for next year. Did you notice that on the back of our room keys it had the dates for the next couple of years?

 

I didn't notice that the dates were on there till you pointed it out...you are more observant than me! LOL

I feel like a truck ran me over.
