I'm excited for the weekend! I have to work on Sat, but then some friends of mine that I haven't seen in a while are coming in for a few days!
I don't have to work nor do I have class on Monday, which is a plus.... but I have a big test on Wed and another one on Thursday! :(

And so I can't even pick up Inferno till then (after Thurs), cause if I do I won't study! :_|

    Edit for clarity

Edit-again Wow! That's the second time I've killed this thread TODAY! I'm on a roll!! :p

I am so happy I have no school on Monday! I am also quite nervous- I have so much homework, but my textbook is still being shipped :(

It always works like that ;) I sometimes say that so that the thread will get alive again.

The bookstore ran out... so more are being ordered. It's all cool.

BTW AF, have you said what the name is yet? It's been bugging me all day!

I misread that and thought you were asking what my name is and that it had been bugging you. I was momentarily freaked out :p

    Drabba did guess it- Arianna.

So the prof knows that you don't have the book and that you can't do your HW?? I hope??

LOL! Sorry about the confusion, I'm really tired and I don't make any sense when I'm not tired, so its really bad when I am!
I really like that name, its very pretty!

Yes. She's the sort who's like "Turn it in when it's most convenient to you."

I was the one who misread ;) I'm very tired and my eyes are watering due to allergies! For fun, catch me here when it's very, very late... I almost turn Luna-ish by asking dumb things having to do with pudding. I sometimes post half asleep.

Thanks! I told Ish the full name, so she's praying it's a girl so she can have the name ;)

I didn't intend for it. The name was in the "A" section, and I thought it was pretty. It is also spelled Aryanna, but it had a less rating.

I've worked M-Th this week. Then I go into tomorrow for an extra early shift, though it's a short one. And I work again Saturday! Thank goodness the gym is closed Monday! [face_tired]

Well, at least you're enjoying your job. Some of us aren't so fortunate.

I was in North Carolina all last week. Drove home from Waynesville to Pensacola (8 hour trip that took us 11 hours all said an done) on Sunday. Monday morning, took my son to his first day of VPK and then that afternoon hoped a flight to Jackson (via Memphis) to take care of some personal business. Spent the morning dealing with that, and then hoped an afternoon flight back to Pensacola (via Atlanta). So Wednesday was my first day back to work after my vacation.

I'm still exhausted from it, and am so ecstatic that it's a 3 day weekend coming up....

Oh, I like it with the y! But I like the strange spellings of things.

For fun, catch me here when it's very, very late... I almost turn Luna-ish by asking dumb things having to do with pudding.
I'm like that all the time! :p

Wow Vader! Thats a lot of working! I hope your getting over time!

I have to work a 10 hour shift tommorrow, which wouldn't be bad if it weren't a Friday at the bank! Talk about a long day!

Edit: Woah, Han! That's a lot of traveling! It makes me exausted just thinking about it!!

They keep the shifts short because we're so active while we're there. :p So it's not a lot of hours, it's just a lot of...work. :D

And I do hope to have pleasant dreams... about Daniel Craig, prefferably.

    g'nite Tahiri...

As for baby names, I think I've finally convinced my wife that Mara would make a great lil girl's name (still working on using Jade as the middle name)....

Now, if I could only produce a girl... [face_plain] *shrugs* oh, well, it's still a bit off before we start making the decision on whether or not we try for #3...

You could always try the King Henry VII tactic and get a new wife [face_mischief]

It would really depend if Mara would work. You'd have to have a good middle name ;)

Edit: Sorry... missed the part about 'Jade'.

    only in Hebrew.

    Alternative meanings are:
It's the word for the sea in Irish
It's sanskrit fro death-bringing or destroyer
and in Spanish means cherry blossom

Then Mara is a goddess/mythological being in many of the world's myths.
Latvian, Belsarians, Hinduism, Budhism, and Norse mythology.

Well, yes, but I personally will always think of it from the book of Ruth, where Naomi, her mother-in-law, whose name means joyful, says "Call me no more Naomi. I am Mara, for I am bitter."

Arianna is a pretty name, though personally I like Lily better. Even if it does remind me of my cousin's dog. :p

I hope everyone has a good night; I'm off for the evening.

I know... and that's where most folks think of it from... consequently, it's also a form of Mary, which means rebellion if memory serves... *shrugs*

there used to be an old lady named Lily that went to my church.

I dated her neighbor's daughter for a bit. Pretty girl, a lot of attributes to attract a male's attention. Unfortunately, intelligence was not one of her attributes....
