    All hail John Williams!

    *bows*

    :D

DOTF music fits the scene, all right. There's graveness and suspense (to who will win, who will die, who will lose, etc.) and peril in that area of the film. Perfect. Bravo, Mr Williams!

Hey, let's try to guess the next score he'll be composing for Star Wars Ep. 3! I'm guessing that there'll be a theme for Luke and Leia's birth.

    Really?

Sorry, it's just that I never knew that.

EDIT: Oh, I think he will use a softer version of Luke and Leia's theme at their birth scene.

I like Across the Stars myself, but yeah, DOTF is the best dueling theme ever.

True. There's the hint that the good guys are fighting back at some point of the duel in DOTF. Two thumbs up!

Yeah, you're right. The soft parts of DOTF did mean that the good guys were fighting back as the music got louder.

Sleepy Hollow didn't sound like Batman!

I think Tim Burton and Danny Elfman make awesome productions together.

Batman music was cool, but still not as cool as Duel of the Fates.

Elfman's cool, but he's no John Williams [face_mischief]

DOTF is an excellent song. Oh, er, I can't say that...excellent tune. No? Excellent melody?

Man, I just can't catch a break on this one.

    It's excellent anyway ;)
Whenever I hear it, I always gets flashes of images from TPM. It's one of those great works that connect right into memories.

As for Ep3...I believe Williams mentioned he was planned on revisiting some ANH stuff to provide a link. I'm thinking Princess Leia's theme here...but I'd also love some shades of Luke & Leia from ROTJ.

I think the theme Luke and Leia will be heard in Ep.3, only in a softer version, for their birth. I wonder if Across the Stars will be Ep.3. Maybe it will, since there will be some tender scenes between Anakin and Padme in the final installment of the Star Wars trilogy.
