The Edmonton Marathon

    Hello everyone,

    A co worker of mine who is still affiliated with Running Room has brought to my attention the possibility of the Edmonton Fan Force and 501st making an appearance at the Edmonton Marathon.

    Basically whoever goes, will go in full costume. The time commitment is 4 hours on Sunday August 21st from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

    The prime location to be at in my opinion would be near the ravine on 142 st, represented on the map by location 35.

    If anyone is interested I think it would be a really cool event to attend. Just imagine Star Wars characters there to hand water out to the runners. A press release would obviously be sent to let the media know that's the location our group would be at to make it truly worth it.

    Whatd'ya think?
