It's actually pretty amazing that was posted March 31 considering all the rumors we have heard since then.

"I've read the second draft of the Abrams/Kasdan script.

I've chosen a trip so that people can't BS in my name when trailers, other media, and the film itself confirm what I say. I won't post again until then so as not to be accused of attention whoring.

Please don't read unless you want to have the film spoiled.

If you quoted or tagged me I could see your comments faster and respond more promptly.

 

In response to my question " Why do you want him pursued?" You appeared to be suggesting KS had broken the law in regards to an NDA and should receive "a smack on the wrist" as a warning to others who might now feel empowered to leak spoilers without fear of "retribution".

If that is not what you meant, that was how your post read.

I said if he violated the terms of the NDA, he has broken the law.

A "smack on the wrist" is a well known idiom, and common sense would tell you that I wasn't expecting Bob Iger to show up at his door and beat him with a cane.

Retribution does not always imply a physical punishment.

That is how YOU read my post, not "how it read"

Seeing as so much of this is lining up with recent reports, I'd say this outline deserves spoiler (or at least rumor) status at this point.

That's fair. But you can't cherry pick. Devin's report is categorized as spoiler. So if one feels this outline is bunk (or at least not worthy of serious consideration) then the same should apply to the BAD 'spoiler'. Just sayin'.

 

Well then you'd better change the BAD thread to discussion.

 

I wish I could share your view. I feel like every little piece of info that comes out is probably real. But if I had a personality to just dismiss it I probably wouldn't be stalking this forum.

I'm well aware smack on the wrist is an idiom and I wasn't referring to physical harm as being zealous. But I won't derail further.

Amazing looking back at Darth Friday how on the money he was. I will be amazed if there aren't some decent nuggets of truth amidst all the various rumours so far. Making SW had a source that pretty much described the x-wing on the backlot. Shouldn't be too hard to work out which are close and which are miles off as we go through. troopers returning, JB and GC also seem fairly likely to me.

EDIT - as I just realised was your last post - see what I mean about not tagging

 

I should add that I trust Abrams to create a good story if it is the Empire vs Alliance again - but if he does go that route I'll be disappointed that he didn't take this golden chance to try something new

 

Hogsquattle I would dissappointed if there's a new Republic. We already saw a Republic in the PT.

 

I don't believe any of the script rumors, but what I do believe is:

Official X-Wing Pilot in the new video = Rebel Pilot

Rebels = Rebellion

Rebellion = Empire

Case closed.
