On December 28th at 5pm we are having a Star Wars movie night at the house of Cory Miller, one of our team members. Some of our team aren't very familiar with the films, they are mostly on board for the autism cause. But as a Star Wars fan I look for opportunities to bring people over to the dark side. Pizza and beer will be provided. There is a movie projector and a bar in Cory's barn. He throws great parties. I'm inviting anyone who is involved in this event in some way to join us for what is sure to be a fun time.

Awesome, I can't wait to see you guys there! And I'm not sure if it has to be said, but this movie night is just a little party to celebrate all that everyone has put into this event or will. Even if you wanted to come to the event but couldn't you're invited to join us for this. But we're NOT requesting costumes or anything.
-Of course no one can stop you if that's what you really want to do...

Yes, we can be there. At least me and Peter will be in costumer (Stormtrooper and Sith Acolyte); William - don't know yet; Amy and Katherine might be able to come out and bowl.

As far as I know only Larry and Janet are available for this, with Anne and her family as a maybe?
There will be pizza, popcorn, pop, and beer. I hope you can join us for what is sure to be a fun evening. For those of you who can't make it I'm excited to see you next weekend at the big event!

Just had a short meeting with Nick to plot strategy.
As of now it looks like we have:

We discussed doing 3 performances - 12:30, 2:00 and 3:15 with sign-ups limiting to 20 per performance. These will be in the meeting room we've previously used. We need one Sith who can speak a few lines of dialogue.
Nick has requested the large backdrop be set up for photo ops. We'll try to schedule good guy, bad guy and maybe a mixed session.
There is a place to change/stow items and rest maskless. Water will be supplied.
In between performances and photos, we're asked to heckle/encourage the bowlers on Rebel and Imperial teams; generally drift around and have fun.

Look for edits to this post as we remember details.

 

We are planning on being there!! Both AJ (Boba) and Myself.

 

I don't have a costume yet but would be happy to lend a hand if needed or just support the event by attending. Jessica and I will both be there to either bowl or help out where needed. Feel free to put me to work!!!

 

Trying to secure a sitter so Mindy and I can both be there.

 

Asajj Ventress will be there!!!!!!!!!!

 

Those in armor/helmets can always use wranglers! This would be great!

 

I plan on being there as Solo to support the Rebel team, Photos and mingle with fans. Looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will not be to horrible and we get buried.
