Incredible chapter. Intrigued on how this will play out.

 

Well, that was a hell of a return post. Thank you for the recap, as well. I must admit I actually needed that.

Malig's healing must have a similar side-effect to the resurrection power, just on a smaller scale. I wonder how much of Jacen is left after that. Enough that he still seems to care about Tenel Ka and Ben, but... I have a very bad feeling about this.

 

I'm keeping HTML files of all YK's fics on Dropbox, which I've just updated (I'll probably update it again at the end of the week to keep up with the minor corrections usually done in the days after YK updates a chapter). The list containing the names of the future chapters is at the end of the The End of All Light file.

 

Good. Because I would have had to copy and paste each new chapter from this story into the document that I have and that was such a pain for the 2 chapters I did. Good to see what the upcoming chapters will be as well. Time to speculate what happens next though it will be wrong.

We've been through so much and we still have a long ways to go.
Can't even begin to guess what will happen next on this roller coaster.

 

Oh yeah. The malig and Plagueis storyline is so far becoming more dominant. Awesome.

also, damn Jacen. Nevr been his fan that much, so damn him.

Currently reading The Living Force again.
Revolution and The Eighth Cortex were as great as I remembered. Heck, The Eighth Cortex was way better than I remember. Such a great story.

 

For me, somewhere in the middle of The Eighth Cortex was where YK turned from an amateur to a professional. I saw that transition as pretty abrupt, btw.

 

Finished The Living Force again. These three stories were awesome. The Eighth Cortex was amazing. Best story in this readthrough. All of the characters were spot on. So many great moments. Too many to list.

That was @Rew's suggestion. I reread the stories again in July to make sure I had everything straight Probably a good sign it's been way, way too long...

Something is definitely going on... There may be a clue of something back in Exodus, if one knew where to look.

Jacen's story from here is one of my favorite parts. We'll get more on what's going on with him in a couple chapters.

Been a long time since I read those. I'm afraid I would cringe at some of it but I still like the stories.

Not sure I remember that. I do remember trying harder to actually write TLF. I kind of miss the days when I didn't though. I wrote Revolution in a month and I believe the Eighth Cortex took 3 months. Those were the days [face_crying]

The Living Force was definitely my favorite. Still is, in a lot of ways.

Can I just make my dead or alive predictions for the end of the series that Anakin is the only one that lives? Or if he dies, Jaina and Tahiri live?

 

Hey Yoda, great to see you back at it man, been a few years after the boards went awol. I love that your still keeping this up, I’ve been checking back intermittently every few months-what a sweat.

WHat’s with this TEOAL thing then ? How can I get my hands on that?

I was always thinking that Anakin never really seems to meet his full potential i.e. while Jacen’s going to school Anakin’s playing in the field, it seems shaky that he would have much chance against Malig considering he’s all sabre and no lightening.

 

Interesting ideas. Any reason why? Obviously I can't really say one way or the other

I never really saw it that way. Jacen was the one that seemed a bit more lost to me during the NJO. For the most part I thought Jaina and Anakin were more focused and knew what they wanted.

Hello everyone!

Several years ago i was really into reading fanfic and i stumbled across this saga. I think YK was in the middle of writing Exodus. Words cannot express how awesome this whole series is, particularly with all the terrible things that they did with pro-fic. So thank you, YodaKenobi! After a couple years away, I have just started working my way back through (presently in The Eight Cortex), and your ability to paint a picture with description is simply phenomenal. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds!
