If any of these big stars are in the movie, I'm sure they'll be unrecognizable. Something akin to Glenn Close in Hook or Nathan Fillion in GotG, as previously mentioned. I don't mind.

If the Sam Jackson thing is true, perhaps Mace Windu is making a holographic cameo?

All the actors with cameos should play an alien race called....wait for it... "Kameeohz"...

IIRC, Conan O'Brien has some sort of outstanding deal with JJ also.

Why not just get all the James Bond's....Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig. They could be all thats left of the Death Watch

 

I thought this was Daniel Craig...

 

So Daniel Craig is supposedly playing a Stormtrooper with a bunch of the next Bond film cast.

Simon Pegg is supposed to be a guy that confronts Daisy and Chewie in the Cantina.

Don't really know about Greg Grunberg or Benedict Cumberbatch.

Do we think Adrien Brody has a cameo given that he attended the cast party?

 

Maybe it's just me but I don't want Star Trek actors crossing over into the ST. It would jar with me as I was watching the film I think. Would prefer not to be distracted and taken out of the the world of The Force Awakens by this type of cameo re Cumberbatch.

 

Confirmed cameos:

Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Jackman and George Clooney.

 

It might take until the blu ray release to hear JJ's commentary and hope he points out which Stormtrooper is which actor.

 

I hope Alfred Hitchcock makes a cameo in this one.

 

I've heard the Tom Cruise, BC, and Hugh Jackman rumor, but where did Quinto & Clooney come from?

Technically, this would be the most star studded cast of all-time if all these cameos are true. The prequels didn't even come close to this level of cameo speculation/rumors
