What does an Avenger & Civilian do?

 

Avenger is the name of the Squadron you are in. A Civilian is the defeault rank for all new members. To get a higher rank, do well by posting and replying in discussions, take part in (or win) quizzes, and generally be punctual and a credit to the ESBFC.
If you win a quiz (held occasionally) you will get a Custom Title, like the coloured ones on the Crew List above.

It would also be helpful if you could put either your rank and squad, 'ESB Fan Club' or a link to the website in your signatures. Something like this:

It's good to see Avenger being populated - it was a little difficult to be a menacing squadron when I was the only one in it. A little fresh blood has rekindled my interests.

Real life obligations continue to keep me away from the boards. A lot is happening at the hospital, I have LSATs approaching, a presentation on technology and medical ethics on the 21st, two papers to finish, 180 hours of clinical journals to document, and my comprehensive exams in the fall. Needless to say, I anticipate hitting 2,000 posts sometime next summer...

Some of the reviews have been getting really nasty. Therein lies the rub, though: the really scathing reviewers seem to doing it because they've got some other axe to grind. We'll all be able to see on Thursday if there's any substance to their claims (which I doubt).
